Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Wednesday March 26th 2003
Tiffany glanced up when she heard the front door of the townhouse open. 
"Hi Tiffany, is he here yet?" Starlene asked glancing around the living room as she closed the front door of the townhouse behind her.
"Starlene!  I can't believe you came by."
"Is Clark here?"  she asked referring to her sister's boss.
"No. He's gone back to Florida to work on more parties for Nicole's Father," Tiffany said thinking about Clark in Florida with his wife's mob boss family.
"Where's Nicole," Starlene whispered taking off her jacket and hanging it on the rack in the lobby.
"She went with him to Florida."
"Oh how exciting!" Starlene said taking a deep breath as she walked towards Tiffany's desk.
"Nicole would die if she knew that Brandon had a change of plans right after she left," Tiffany said laughing.
"Well, did Clark hear anything about this handsome rich guy stopping by while he was out of town?"
"Yes, I overheard their conversation.  Nicole told Clark that she met him at the Sardi's party and that he stopped by the office."
"I'm shocked she told him that much," Starlene said taking a seat in the chair in front of Tiffany's desk.
"Nicole is planning on seeing Brandon on the sly. I know she wants that.  She told Clark because she knows Brandon will find out about Clark sooner or later."
"What else did she tell him?"
"Well, I could only hear bits and pieces of their conversation.  They were in the kitchen," she said nodding behind her towards the kitchen.  "I heard Clark saying how excited he was that she had met Brandon Douglas.  Clark seems to know who he is and that he's got money."
"It just keeps getting better," Starlene said taking her compact from her purse and applying more lip-gloss.
"Anyway, Nicole told Clark that she went to lunch with Brandon and that she thought that Brandon might give Manhattan Party Planning some business."
"I guess Clark was all impressed with that."
"Oh yes.  Clark really needs the business. He asked her when she'd be talking to Brandon again. I heard her tell him that Brandon was going to LA for a week or so.  So Clark said 'then you come to Florida with me and fly back when Brandon comes back in town.'"
"So she loved that because she could leave Clark in Florida and come back to be alone with Brandon," Starlene said knowingly.
"Right.  But she didn't know that right after they left Brandon called and said he wasn't going to LA.  He said that he wanted to stop by and pick up a copy of our brochure and give it to his publicist."
"So he's really coming by today?" Starlene said fluffing the back of her long blonde hair with her hand.
"Yeap.  But you really shouldn't have come by Starlene."
"Why not?"
"What will I say?"
"This is my sister... like why is that so hard?"
"Starlene, I might be interested in him myself.  I mean if he's single."
"Well we'll find out together won't we?"
"What about Stanley?" Tiffany said referring to her sister's wealthy lover.
"Well, you've got Amir," Starlene said referring to Tiffany's lover that she hadn't seen in a long time.  Amir's wife was sick and then she was abducted. "And besides Stanley didn't set the date like he promised and I've threatened him over and over. I'm not waiting anymore. If the right guy comes along while Stanley's draggin' his feet them I'm gone," Starlene said looking up when the front door opened and Brandon walked in.  "I'm gone," she whispered smiling broadly.
