Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Wednesday March 12th 2003 "Hay Ilona," Skeeter said smiling broadly as Jan's plump housekeeper held the door of the mansion open for him. "Evening Mr. Skeeter," she said closing the door behind the handsome southerner. "You've lost weight haven't you Ilona?" Skeeter asked making a point to look at the housekeeper's round hips. "No, I try for reduce, but only gain," she said in her broken English blushing at his attention. "Looking sexy to me," Skeeter said walking into the living room. "Ilona, get Skeeter a drink," Jan said walking into the living room and smiling as Skeeter walked towards her. "Hay Baby, how you doing?" Skeeter asked noticing the low cut blouse and tight pants Jan was wearing. "I'm great. I'm doing absolutely fantastic," Jan said taking a seat on the sofa and touching the cushion indicating she wanted him to take a seat beside her. "Here Mr. Skeeter," Ilona said handing Skeeter his usual bourbon and water. "Thanks Ilona," Skeeter said allowing his eyes to rest on the heavy woman's bosom as she leaned over to hand him the drink. "Ilona, Skeeter and I will have our drink then dinner," Jan said ignoring the crimson color of her housekeepers' cheeks. "Yes Miss Morgan," Ilona said turning and walking towards the kitchen. "What are you in such a good mood about tonight?" Skeeter asked taking a long sip of his drink and placing it on the coffee table. "Skeeter I have some excellent news for you," Jan said holding out her drink as if to initiate a toast. "What's that Baby?" he said reaching to pick up his glass. "You're divorced," Jan said touching her glass to his. "Divorced?" "Yes, you and Tiffany are divorced." "I don't think so," Skeeter said taking a sip of his bourbon and putting the glass on the table. "I said you are. I took care of it." "What the hell are you talking about Jan?" Skeeter asked as his heart started to race. "I persuaded Tiffany to sign the divorce papers." "How did you do that?" "I went by the office where she works and had a little talk with her." "You didn't threaten her, did you?" "No. Nothing like that," she lied. "Pay her off." "Of course not," she said feeling her face redden as she remembered her failed efforts to pay Tiffany off a few days ago. "Okay then tell me how you talked her into signing the divorce papers after all this time." "I told her that I would go to NYC Investigative Magazine and tell them about her character." "What could you say about my wife's character?" "You mean ex wife." "Whatever," he said feeling a lump in his throat. "That she was with a wealthy married man the night his wife disappeared. His wife is now missing and perhaps dead. Then she won't give her estranged husband a divorce because he's engaged to marry a much wealthier woman." "And she went for that?" "Yeah," Jan said. "Interesting. "Well, there's a little more to it than that," Jan said unable to resist telling him of her clever plot. "What's that?" "There's no such magazine as NYC Investigative. I made it up." "Hard to believe that Tiffany would fall for that," he said feeling saddened. "I had my secretary call her at home the night before and act as if she were a reporter. So it scared her to death," Jan said holding her glass up once more to toast her victory. CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
