CASTING! BECOME A STAR ON THIS INTERACTIVE SOAP OPERA. SEND YOUR PHOTO, CLICK FOR DETAILS! Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Tuesday March 11th 2003 "Is that you Tiffany?" Starlene called out as she took her feet off of the sofa and turned down the volume of the TV with the remote. "Yeah, it's me," Tiffany said taking off her coat and hanging it on the rack beside the front door. "How was your day?" Starlene asked as she watched Tiffany walk into the living room. "Horrible, just horrible," Tiffany said taking a seat in the chair across from the sofa. "What's the matter Tiffany? A bad day at work?" "Jan came by." "That explains it," Starlene said. "Starlene I let her talk me into signing the divorce papers," Tiffany said as tears started to come to her eyes. "Oh that's probably for the best Tiffany. I mean you and Skeeter have been separated a long time. Now you can get married to Amir if his wife is dead." "That's horrible Starlene. I don't want his poor wife to be dead." "Well, the report is due in on the DNA of the body they found soon. I bet it's going to be her Tiffany." "Stop it Starlene. Stop it." "Why are you so upset. Didn't you want a divorce?" "I don't know Starlene. I'm not completely sure. I mean just a few days ago Skeeter was kissing me and now it's over. My marriage is over," Tiffany said reaching for a Kleenex. "Well, how in the hell did Jan get you to sign the papers if you are still feeling like this?" "Remember the call I got yesterday afternoon from NYC Investigative Magazine?" "Yeah. What a sleaze publication to say they were a florist just to trap you into coming to the phone," Starlene said remembering when she had answered the phone call. "Jan said that if I didn't sign the papers she would go to NYC Investigative Magazine and tell them everything." "Like what could she tell them? You don't know anything about what happened to his wife the night the two of you were on the yacht together. Do you?" Starlene asked her eyes widening. "No. No, of course not. But she said she would make it look like all I want is money. I was with a wealthy married man on his yacht the night his wife is reported missing. Then I won't give my husband a divorce after four years because he's engaged to a wealthy woman." "Oh. I see," Starlene said looking down as she thought about how bad this looked for her sister. "I didn't have any choice Starlene. If the magazine found this out, I'd look like a horrible woman. Maybe I am a horrible woman," Tiffany said wiping the tears from her cheeks. "No. You aren't horrible Tiffany. She's the bad person. Why don't you call Amir's house and see if he knows anything about what the police have found out," Starlene suggested. "No. I can't do that. Maybe the phones are tapped or something." "Did you tell Skeeter that you signed the papers?" "No. Not yet," Tiffany said. "Well, now he's got to marry Jan." "I guess it serves him right." Tiffany said. Her eyes suddenly widened when she saw Amir's face on the screen of the TV set. "Turn it up Starlene!" she said pointing to the television set. CONTINUED TOMORROW.
