CASTING! BECOME A STAR ON THIS INTERACTIVE SOAP OPERA. SEND YOUR PHOTO, CLICK FOR DETAILS! Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Monday March 10th 2003 "Hello Father, sorry I'm late", Jan said as the waiter helped her with her seat at the table in Smith & Wollensky's restaurant. "I was beginning to think maybe you'd decided not to come," Stanley said. "Did you order?" "Yes, I hope you want the usual. I have somewhere I have to go right after dinner," Stanley said glancing down at his gold wristwatch. "Are you still seeing Starlene?" Jan asked referring to Tiffany's younger sister. "Yes," Stanley said taking a sip of his wine. "Have you set the date for the wedding Father?" "No. I didn't ask you to dinner to discuss Starlene either." "I know. You asked me to dinner to discuss my engagement with Skeeter," she said referring to Tiffany's estranged husband. "Yes. That's exactly why I asked you to dinner. Jan don't you think you should have told me that you were seeing him?" "Father I haven't reported my romantic relationships to you in years." "Jan you know exactly what I mean. You have never been engaged before. Don't you think you could have at least told me you were seeing him?" "Would you have approved?" "Of course not," Stanley said holding down his voice as the waiter poured more wine into their glasses. "Well, see there you go. Why would I tell you then? And what difference would it have made?" "Jan you know what I'm getting at? Have you lost your mind?" Stanley said as the waiter walked away. "No, not at all. I plan to marry Skeeter." "Why?" "Because maybe I love him." "Do you?" "I care for him a lot. It's time I get married." "I could have found you a husband Jan. I didn't know you were seriously interested in getting married. Look you have to break this relationship off," Stanley said sternly. "No," she said taking a sip of her wine. "Jan he's not right for you." "Starlene isn't right for you but I can't get you to break it off with her." "That's different. I'm a man." "I don't see how that makes any difference." "Well, it does. I don't want to argue this with you. Skeeter doesn't have the status to be married to you," he said sickened as he remembered the words 'lingerie salesman' in the newspaper describing Skeeter. "Starlene is an out of work gold digger too." "Stop it. I mean it. This is ridiculous," Stanley said as he glanced around the restaurant to see if anyone was listening to the conversation. "I'm not going to break off my engagement to Skeeter." "Skeeter's still married to Tiffany," Stanley said. "Maybe not," Jan said smugly. "Skeeter and I will get married. You can walk me down the aisle or I'll walk alone." CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
