CASTING! BECOME A STAR ON THIS INTERACTIVE SOAP OPERA. SEND YOUR PHOTO, CLICK FOR DETAILS! Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Monday February 10th 2003 "Have you been waiting long?" Nicole asked as she put the key in the door of her former Bleecker Street residence to unlock it. "Only a few minutes," Skeeter said glancing down the stairwell when he heard someone downstairs coming into the building. "Don't worry, Clark's going uptown this morning on a sales call," she said referring to her husband. She flipped on the light switch as he followed her into the apartment. She closed the door locking it behind them. "I'm glad we could get together this morning," Skeeter said taking off his black leather jacket and tossing it on the back of the sofa before taking a seat. He watched Nicole take off her fur jacket and throw it over a nearby chair before taking a seat beside him. "We can't stay here too long. I never know if my Father told one of his business associates in Florida that they can use this place." She glanced around the apartment that she had occupied until recently marrying Clark. "I've always wondered about your old man Nicole," Skeeter said putting his arm on the back of the sofa. "What?" "Is he Mafia?" "Sure. But don't tell anybody or I'd just say you were lying," she said. "Is he a boss?" Skeeter asked clearly impressed. "Yea," she said nonchalantly. "What's that like?" "Look I'm not going into any of this with you. That's not what we came here today to talk about remember?" "Just curious," he said shrugging his shoulders. "Well, you don't need to know anything about that. You've got worse problems than the mob now," she said laughing. "You're right. I don't know what to do." "How did all of this happen?" "She bought a diamond ring and said that we should get married. The next thing I know she told everyone that I gave her the ring and then it was in the damn newspaper." "How funny." "It's not funny at all. Now her old man is calling me and I'm not sure what he's up to. What did her father tell Clark?" "Stanley told Clark this wedding wasn't going to happen. That was after Clark proposed a big party for the engagement. Maybe Stanley just didn't want to give you guys a big party or something," she said shrugging her shoulders. "I think Stanley doesn't want me to marry her." "What did he say when he called you?" "He implied that I was after her money." "Well, she hasn't got much else going for her does she?" "Well, she is a socialite if I was into that kinda thing." "Wouldn't you want to be well known in New York City?" "Stanley said I'd never have another minute alone if I marry her. He said everyone would be watching us." "So don't you think that everyone is watching you now after the engagement was announced in the New York Times?" "You're right. I'd never thought of it that way. It's already happened I guess." "So what are you going to do?" "Stanley wants me to meet him and talk this over." "Are you going to?" "Do you think I should?" "Sure, why not? Get things straight from the beginning." "Like what?" "What you can expect being a part of his family." "You get right to the point don't you?" he said pulling her closer to him and glancing down her low cut sweater. "It's my Father's training I guess," she said smiling. "You mean tell Stanley to make me an 'offer I can't refuse'?" he asked smiling broadly. "Exactly," she said smiling as she unbuttoned his shirt. CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
