Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Friday January 31st 2003 "Leave the light on Skeeter," Jan said admiring his broad muscular shoulders as he reached for the lamp beside the bed. "Don't you want to get some sleep?" Skeeter asked turning to face her. "We can sleep later," she said pulling the sheet away to reveal her body. "Jan it's really late," he said glancing towards the clock. "It wouldn't be late if you had Tiffany here now would it?" she asked. "Come on, give me a break." "I have given you a break. Now I want to know you love me Skeeter," she said gently pulling him towards her. "I want to look into your eyes when you tell me you love me Skeeter." "Jan it's really late," he said trying to avoid her as he remembered Tiffany's voluptuous body and how close he had been to reuniting their passions tonight. "Skeeter just think how happy we'll be when we're married." "I guess," he said with doubt in this voice. "You'll have your own business, we'll travel the world," she said. "You really think that's what will happen?" he said turning his head on the pillow to face her. "Sure." "I guess it will be good, huh?" he asked smiling at her. "It's going to be great and everyone will know tomorrow that we're engaged." "It's going to be in the newspapers tomorrow?" "Yeah. Father doesn't know that. I'm sure he'll be more surprised than anyone," she said reaching over to run her hand through his thick dark hair. "What if he won't let you marry a lowly lingerie salesman like me?" Skeeter asked in his slow southern accent. "Then we'll get married whether he's there or not." "You mean like elope?" "Why not. We'll go to Vegas or something. All of the movie stars do stuff like that. Then we'll have a huge party at the Plaza afterwards and invite all of the 'right' people." "Is that what you really want?" he asked pulling her closer to him. "I think that would have more impact really. I mean I'm older now and a big wedding and walking down the aisle seems out of question really." "Sure does," he said swallowing hard. "You'll be happy Skeeter." "I guess so," he said totally unconvinced. "I'll make you happy," she said pulling the sheet off of him and gently stroking his masculine body. "I know not having to worry about money would be nice," he said glancing towards her to watch her response hoping for reassurance. "You'll have all the money you ever want," she said pleased that she was able to arouse him. "That's great Baby." "There's only one thing Skeeter," she said as her hands froze in place and she stared at him. "What? Anything you want Baby," he said helplessly. "You have to promise me you'll never embarrass me." "I won't," he said as the phone rang on the table beside the bed. "I better grab that," he said reluctantly. "It's really late, let the machine get it," she said kissing him fully on the mouth. "This is Skeeter I can't take your call now. Leave a message and I'll get back to you," his voice said on the answering machine. "Skeeter it's me, Tiffany. I hope you got home okay. I hope you didn't run into Stanley in the lobby of my building after I left you there. I'm sorry things are so crazy between us Skeeter. I do want to talk to you soon. I know you don't love Jan and you don't want to marry her. I can understand how you felt she trapped you into becoming engaged. Just give me a call. We'll go somewhere to talk. Maybe the Washington Square Hotel would be a good idea, just like you said. Call me at home tomorrow, " Tiffany said before hanging up the phone. CONTINUED MONDAY. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
