Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Wednesday January 15th 2003 Skeeter turned to smile at his estranged wife Tiffany as he walked towards the swinging doors of the kitchen to leave. He felt his pride swelling at the sight of her voluptuous body as she pulled her sweater down from their passionate embrace. Her words were filled with doubt but her body told him she was ready. "What time are you going to get home after work?" he asked. "Around five thirty," she said touching the corners of her mouth with her fingers to wipe away any smeared lipstick. "Man it's going to be a long day Baby," he said admiring her shapely legs in the black tights and short leather skirt. "You better go Skeeter. Clark and Nicole will be home soon," she said glancing at the clock above the swinging doors. "Okay. See you tonight," he said giving the door a push. He glanced down as he walked into the living room tugging on the zipper of his black leather jacket. "Skeeter," Tiffany said having second thoughts as she pushed the door open and walked out into the living room behind him. "Yeah Baby," he said smiling as he turned to glance towards his estranged wife. "Jan!" Tiffany said as her eyes widened at the sight of Jan standing in the living room glaring at them. "Hello Tiffany," Jan said holding the picture of Skeeter and her that she'd sent to the newspaper to publish the announcement of their recent engagement. "Jan, what are you doing here?" Skeeter asked awkwardly. "Shouldn't I be the one to ask you that?" Jan asked reaching for her full-length mink coat that she had tossed on the sofa. "I came by to talk over some business with Tiffany," he said in a hushed voice hoping Tiffany wouldn't listen to his answer. "Are you finished talking?" Jan asked hastily pulling her coat over her shoulders. "Yeah. I was on my way out," he said turning to look at Tiffany and noticing she was still standing in the swinging door of the kitchen watching them. "I have to run," Jan said starting towards the front door to leave. The door opened and Clark walked in alone. "Jan, I wasn't expecting you to come by today," Clark said smiling then glancing across the room surprised to see Skeeter. "I just dropped by, but I'm late for an appointment and have to run," she said kissing Clark on the cheek and walking towards the door. "Is everything okay?" Clark asked noticing the shocked expression on Skeeter's face, as he stood frozen in the middle of the living room. Tiffany seemed spellbound holding open the swinging door between the living room and the kitchen. "Yes. Everything is fine. I'll call you later," Jan said walking out and closing the door behind her. "Nice to see you Clark," Skeeter said finally walking towards the door. "You too Skeeter. Jan looks upset, maybe you better go after her," Clark said glancing out of the window and seeing Jan hurrying towards the gate to leave. "She's okay." Skeeter said turning up the collar on his black leather jacket. "Tiffany is everything okay here?" Clark asked watching Tiffany slowly walk into the living room as Skeeter approached the front door to leave. "Yes. Everything is fine," she said stopping in the middle of the living room. "Okay," Clark said as he watched Skeeter open the front door. "Bye Skeeter," Tiffany said softly. "I'll be talkin' to you," he said pausing momentarily to turn and give his estranged wife a faint smile before opening the front door to leave. CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
