Russell Simmons' Def Poetry Jam on Broadway Opened November 14th 2002
Longacre Theatre, Tickets 220 West 48th Street between Broadway and 8th Avenue; $25-$65; Tue-Fri 8 PM; Sat 5 & 9 PM; Sun 3 & 7 PM; 9 poets give a contemporary, entertaining performance about life, specifically, the who, and what we are today. It is a 2 hour drama with music directed by Stan Lathan, and is produced by The Def Poetry, LLC.

Say Goodnight Gracie Opened October 10th 2002.
Helen Hayes Theatre, Tickets 240 West 44th Street between Broadway and 8th Avenue; $60-$65, Tue-Sat 8 PM; Wed & Sat 2 PM; Sun 3 PM; Directed by John Tillinger; Frank Gorshin, ( The Riddler from the old "Batman" TV series ), is the man in this new one-man play by Rupert Holmes about George Burns. Settings: John Lee Beatty; Lighting: Howard Werner; Sound Kevin Lacy. George Burns died in 1996 at the age of 100. He was born Nathan Birnbaum.

The Look Of Love, The Songs of Burt Bacharach & Hal David Previews April 1st 2003, Limited Run Opens May 4th 2003-June 15th 2003

Thoroughly Modern Millie Opened April 18th 2002

It takes place in 1922 during the expansion of women's liberties and freedom. The book was written by Richard Morris, "The Unsinkable Molly Brown". Direction by Michael Mayer; New Music: Jeanine Tesori; New Lyrics: Dick Scanlan. Choreography by Rob Ashford; Sutton Foster is "Millie". Featuring Sheryl Lee Ralph, Harriett Harris, Marc Kudisch, Gavin Creel, Angela Christian, Ken Leung, Francis Jue and Anne L. Nathan. Its World Premiere was in San Diego at La Jolla Playhouse on October 15th 2000. 2002 Tony Award : Best Musical, 2002 Tony Award : Best Leading Actress in a Musical (Sutton Foster), 2002 Tony Award : Best Featured Actress in a Musical (Harriett Harris), 2002 Tony Award : Best Costume Design (Martin Pakledinaz), 2002 Tony Award : Best Choreography (Rob Ashford), and 2002 Tony Award : Best Orchestrations (Doug Besterman & Ralph Burns).

Urban Cowboy Opens late February
THEATRE TBA, A new musical based on the 1980 film of the same name in which John Travolta had starred under the direction of James Bridges. It is a story of a young man in a Houston bar who learns about love and life. Aaron Latham and Phillip Oesterman wrote the book and screenplay. This musical version of "Urban Cowboy" will feature a 5-piece country band on stage performing hits like "Lookin' for Love in All the Wrong Places" as well as new Nashville based country tunes including original songs by Jason Robert Brown and Louis St Louis. Lonny Price directs; Settings by James Noone; Costumes by Gregory Gale; The Musical Director is Louis St Louis.

Urinetown : The Musical Opened September 20th, 2001
