Tiffany asked getting out of her chair and walking towards the sofa of the living room in the townhouse where she worked near Washington Square Park. She felt compelled to try and comfort the young neighbor Greg as he confided in her. "No thanks. I'll be okay. I'm sorry to bother you like this but I just wondered if you have Nicole's phone number in Florida?" he asked wiping the tears from his eyes. "Greg you can't call Nicole in Florida. She's with Clark… her husband." "Well maybe you could call and then put me on the phone," he said hopefully. "No. Besides maybe what you heard wasn't what you thought," Tiffany said reflecting on his story. "No. I promise you. I knew Nicki was here alone. I was putting on my jacket to come over as soon as my Mother left. The drapes of our living room window were open," he said nodding his head towards his home next door. "Nicole always leaves these drapes open too," he said glancing towards the open drapes behind the sofa where they were seated. "That's true," Tiffany conceded. "She never closes them. I even saw Clark and her in here on this very sofa one day almost doing it in front of the window," he said the pain clearly showing on his young face. "That doesn't surprise me," Tiffany mumbled disgusted with Nicole's risky behavior. "So anyway," he said clearing his throat. "I was putting on my coat to come over because it was freezing out on Christmas Eve and I thought maybe Nicole would be in the shower and I'd have to stand outside waiting for her to answer the door," he said pausing to calm his shaky voice. "That's when I saw this guy in a black leather jacket come to the door. I started to open my door and ask him what the F he was doing at Nicole's door," he said glancing up at Tiffany as his eyes narrowed. "But you didn't. That's good," Tiffany said feeling motherly instincts for the emotionally abused young man. "No. I thought I'd just wait and hope that Nicole wouldn't answer the door... but she did. Then when I heard the door close I came over and started to knock on the door," he said nodding towards the living room door. "That's when I noticed that the drapes were closed. Then I heard the man's voice. Then I heard... " He said as tears rolled down his cheeks. "Oh, I'm so sorry Greg," Tiffany said putting her arm around him as he turned his head slightly hoping she wouldn't see the fresh tears in his eyes. "It's okay," she said. "No. No, it's not. I heard their bodies pushing against the door. That guy made love to Nicole against this door," he said his eyes turning away from the door as the painful memories returned too vividly. "You need to stop seeing her Greg. Before you get in trouble," Tiffany said patting him on the shoulders. "I should have banged on the door and beat that guy up." "What stopped you?" "I could tell from the sounds that Nicole liked him." "Have you ever seen that guy here before?" "No, not really. " "Did you hear his name?" "Yeah, it was a weird name. I'd never heard it before… " He said frowning as he tried hard to recall the name Skeeter. CONTINUED MONDAY. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
