Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Thursday December 19th 2002
Tiffany walked towards her desk where she worked and noticed a note from Clark on top of her appointment book.  She took a seat in her chair and read the handwritten note.
'Tiffany I had to leave this morning for Florida.  Nicole's Father called and wanted me to fly down unexpectedly.  I'm glad that you and Nicole patched up your differences.  Amir called after you left yesterday and we will be giving a party for him soon. Clark.'
Tiffany could feel her heart race at the sight of Amir's name.  She  told her secret lover last week that Clark was upset that her relationship with his client had possibly cost him business. Amir must have called Clark to book a party even though Tiffany had objected to his offer to help.
The front door of the townhouse opened and Greg the young next door neighbor walked in.
"Hay Tiffany," he said closing the door and walking into the living room.
"Hi Greg," Tiffany said avoiding his eyes. 
"Is Nicole around?"
"I don't know.  I just got here."
"Her old man isn't here I know that.  I saw him leaving this morning with his suitcases."
"Oh," Tiffany said.
"He isn't coming back is he?"
"I don't think so."
"Good.  I need to see Nicki bad," he said starting towards the stairs to go up to the bedroom.
"You better let me call up first Greg," Tiffany said reaching for the phone.
"Okay," he said stopping at the front door and waiting.
Tiffany picked up the intercom and buzzed the bedroom upstairs.
"Yeah," Nicole answered.
"Greg's here to see you," Tiffany said.
"Send him up," Nicole said hanging up the phone.
"Okay," Tiffany said disgusted with Nicole's behavior.  She watched as the young man walked up the stairs smiling, taking two stairs at a time in his eagerness to see Nicole.
Tiffany listened as she heard the bedroom door open as Greg walked into Nicole and Clark's bedroom.  Tiffany gently got out of her chair and tiptoed towards the staircase to listen to the conversation.
"What are you doing here?" Nicole asked.
"I wanted to see you Nicki."
"You should have called first."
"I saw him leaving with his suitcases this morning."
"So do you think that means you can just come over like this?"
"I can't stand this Nicki."
"What are you talking about?"
"I saw you through the window yesterday afternoon."
"What?"
'I saw you and your old man kissing on the sofa," he said.
"So, I'm married to him."
"I thought you said you didn't love him."
"I don't."
"Well, I can't stand you staying with him Nicki. I want you to leave him right away .  I'm in love with you Nicole."
