Nicole said as she walked towards the front door with Tiffany. "Yes," Tiffany said folding the check and putting it into her purse. "Just remember what I said about loyalty. That's the most important thing," Nicole said raising her eyebrows to implicate that Tiffany understood this meant keeping her mouth shut about her secret affair with Greg, the boy next door. "I hope this is okay with Clark," Tiffany said as she watched Clark walk into the kitchen out of hearing range. "I'll handle my husband. You just do your job and be a loyal employee to me," Nicole said. "I'll see you tomorrow," Tiffany said walking out into the clear cold winter's day in Greenwich Village. "See ya," Nicole said closing the door and watching as Tiffany walked towards the gate to leave. She pulled her sheer robe around her a little tighter as the chilly air hit her bare skin beneath the silk. "Has Tiffany left?" Clark called out from the kitchen. "Yes, she's gone," Nicole said. Clark pushed the swinging door open and walked into the living room. He glanced at the silhouette of his wife's body through the sheer robe as she walked past the light of the living room window. "Why did you do that Nicole?" he asked referring to the large bonus she had given Tiffany without his consent. "It's my money. I'm investing in the business," she said taking a seat on the sofa and allowing the robe to fall open in the front. "That was a lot of money though," he said walking towards the sofa unable to take his eyes off her legs. "It's just money. My Father gives me plenty and I wanted to do it. I don't want to answer that phone. That's what Tiffany's hired to do," she said. "But that was more than any secretary is worth," he said thinking about the fact the accountant had cautioned him on spending this quarter. "It's done. If you want me involved in the business, then respect my decision. Hiring someone else would have been far more costly and time consuming." "You're right," he admitted as the phone rang on Tiffany's desk. "See. You get it," Nicole said smiling as she pointed to the phone. "Manhattan Party Planning," he answered. "Clark," Amir said. "Amir. I haven't heard from you in so long," Clark said excited to hear from Tiffany's secret lover and his wealthiest client. "Yes. I have little time. I want only to tell you that I plan for party soon. I come to talk to you soon, yes?" Amir asked in his broken English. "Well, of course. Would you like to have lunch?" "I call you later for arrangement," Amir said. "Sure, thanks for calling," Clark said hanging up the phone. "Well, I guess maybe I was wrong. I thought that Tiffany's involvement with Amir had cost me his business, but it looks like he will be booking a party soon," Clark said. "See, everything is working out to our advantage," Nicole, said crossing her legs and allowing the robe to fall completely open. "You look great honey. Want to go upstairs and celebrate our good luck?" Clark asked walking towards the sofa. "Why wait?" she said untying the robe and smiling. Clark took a seat on the sofa beside her as she started to unbutton his shirt. "Somebody might see," he whispered breathlessly glancing behind him at the open drapes. "Like the guy next door?" she asked. "Yeah," he said remembering his suspicions about the handsome young man. "Then he'll know you love me. Won't he?" she said tossing her robe on the floor.
