In the last few years Chelsea and the Meat Packing District have changed from slaughterhouses to designer houses. The old Meat Packing district has become the new "it" area of New York City. "It" takes on the meaning of fashion, money, art, fame and high rent.

Third picture down you see one of the hottest young designers of our age, Stella McCartney's storefront in the Meat Packing District (as in daughter of Beatle, Paul McCartney) . Remember where famous designers open stores, rich and famous people shop!
Bottom right picture you see Nisos Restaurant. You'll find plenty of upscale "it" restaurants in this area too.
