Starlene asked. She followed her sister to the front door of their apartment overlooking Washington Square Park. "Yeah. You want to go with me?" Tiffany asked taking her coat from the rack and starting to put it on when they heard a knock at the door. "That's Stanley," Starlene said. "I really didn't want him to see me this upset," Tiffany said wiping the tears from her cheeks. "Don't worry," Starlene said opening the door as Tiffany walked towards a nearby table to pick up her purse. "Hi honey," the wealthy older man said walking into the hallway of the apartment. "Hi Stanley," Starlene said closing the door as he glanced towards Tiffany. "Tiffany are you just getting home or leaving?" Stanley asked noticing she had her coat on. "I'm leaving Stanley. Nice to see you," Tiffany said walking towards the door. "What's the matter? You've been crying," he said noticing the smeared mascara under her eyes. "Nothing." "Oh yes it is. What's the matter honey?" he said taking her by the arm and looking her in the eyes. "Clark fired me." "No." "Why?" "Because he says that the office is too small for him to operate his business and have a happy marriage too." "No kidding," he said surprised. He wondered if his secret lover Nicole was that unhappy with her new husband or if maybe she missed seeing him. "Yeah, Nicole got all upset when she found out that Skeeter was marrying Jan," Starlene blurted out. "Oh my, you did know didn't you Stanley?" she asked. "Yeah. Jan told me. It's the biggest joke I've ever heard," he said with disgust in his voice. "I'm glad to hear that you think it's a joke. I'm going to see if my husband Skeeter is joking," Tiffany said buttoning her coat. "You're going over there now?" Stanley asked. "Well, yeah. Maybe when Nicole got mad and left the office she might have been going there to talk to Skeeter. I knew all along she was having an affair with my husband," Tiffany said walking towards the door. "Maybe you shouldn't do this," Stanley said. "Why not?" "I don't know. Maybe it's just not a good idea. You're all upset. Why don't you go out to dinner with Starlene and me." "No thanks. I'm going. I need to talk to Skeeter." "Tiffany, you and Skeeter haven't lived together in years. You aren't still in love with him are you?" he asked watching her walk towards the front door to leave. "No. I'm not in love with him," she said wondering if that was the truth. "But he's cost me a lot. I have to know if Nicole's there or not," she said walking out into the hallway and hitting the button for the elevator. ----------- "Skeeter, I'm supposed to go out to dinner with Clark," Nicole said as Skeeter picked her up by the waist and lifted her onto his kitchen counter. "I've missed you Baby," he said looking down at her bare legs in the short leather skirt pulled up around her waist. "But Clark's waiting on me," she said feeling his warm breath on her neck. "It never took us long Baby," he said as he embraced her. CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
