CASTING! BECOME A STAR ON THIS INTERACTIVE SOAP OPERA. SEND YOUR PHOTO, CLICK FOR DETAILS! Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Friday November 29th 2002 "Clark I just can't believe you're giving me such a hard time about that phone call," Tiffany said watching her boss pace the floor in front of her desk. "I'm your supervisor Tiffany. If I can't critique you then we have a real problem," he said his voice becoming louder with anger. "Clark it was just a telemarketing person calling for Nicole, that's all," Tiffany lied wondering if she should tell the truth that it was the guy next door calling for his bride Nicole. Maybe he needed to know his wife cheated with her sister's boyfriend Stanley and the guy next door the entire time he was in Florida working for Nicole's mob boss father. "It's not just the phone call Tiffany and you know it," Clark said glancing back out of the window hoping Nicole would come back in time for their dinner reservations in Little Italy. "Clark you can't blame everything on me," Tiffany said feeling the tears starting to come to her eyes. "Tiffany all of the trouble started with you when you had that affair with Amir. I told you when I hired you not to get involved with my clients. Amir's wife is missing now and there's been nothing but negative publicity surrounding this," he said walking back towards her desk. "You just keep bringing this up. I haven't seen Amir in weeks now." "The damage is done. My business is suffering. It's been all over the news about his wife and the fact he had an affair with you. They named you on the news just the other day," he said as his eyes narrowed. "I just can't believe this. You and Nicole aren't getting along so you blame me," she said putting her appointment book in her desk drawer and slamming it shut. "It's a small townhouse and it's very difficult for Nicole to work and live here." "So your marital problems are my fault too?" "I said it's difficult. She says that you listen to every conversation she has." "Oh she does huh?" "See, I hear it in your voice. It's that attitude Tiffany." "Clark you're attacking me because your wife stormed out of here when she heard that Jan was marrying my husband. Have you stopped to think about that?" "She's young Tiffany. She feels like my business and my professional associates are ruining our marriage." "Oh she does." "Yes she does and I happen to agree with her that maybe this space is too small to conduct business and have a happy marriage." "What exactly are you saying?" "Maybe I'll find an office for the business." "Well, that sounds like a good idea. I think you should do that Clark," Tiffany said hoping that would settle the disagreement and she could calm her nerves. "That will cost a lot of money. Offices cost a lot of money that isn't coming in anymore. Money that would have been coming in if you hadn't slept with my client Amir," he said as he glanced out of the window and saw the boy next door walk by the window turning his head quickly when he saw Clark looking out. "That's not fair." "Well, maybe it would be more fair to everyone if you just found another job," Clark said turning and starting up the stairs to his office. He stopped on the stairs and looked down into the living room to see Tiffany walking towards the front door to leave. "One more thing, Tiffany..." He said hesitating. CONTINUED MONDAY.
