CASTING! BECOME A STAR ON THIS INTERACTIVE SOAP OPERA. SEND YOUR PHOTO, CLICK FOR DETAILS! Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Wednesday November 27th 2002 "Nicole. We've got dinner reservations honey," Clark said rushing down the stairs after his distraught young wife. "I'll be right back," she said taking her coat from the closet and opening the front door. "Where are you going honey?" "Clark please. I just want to get some air. Can't I have any privacy in my life anymore? I mean I live here in this townhouse where everyone comes in all day long and the phone rings constantly. I'm sick of this. Sick of it, do you hear me!" she screamed. "Oh, I'm sorry Nicki. I promise I'll find an office. If that's what's bothering you then I promise I'll do it right away," he said watching her walk out the door. "Do whatever you want," she said slamming the door. Tiffany sat at her desk in the living room watching as Clark walked to the window and stared out at his new bride as she rushed towards the gate of the Washington Mews. "I wish she'd let me take her to dinner," he mumbled. The phone on Tiffany's desk rang and she quickly picked it up "Manhattan Party Planning," she answered. "Is Nicki around?" "No she just left. Would you like for me to take a message?" she asked turning to see Clark walking towards her desk. "This is Greg next door. Is her old man there?" he asked. "Yes," Tiffany said as she watched Clark take a seat in the chair next to her desk. "I'll just call her later. If her husband leaves then just tell her to call me right away, okay?" he asked. "Sure," Tiffany said disgusted that the young boy next door had the nerve to call for Nicole. Nicole's affair with this handsome young man was really too close to home. Tiffany hung up the phone and looked up to see Clark seated in front of her desk. "Who was that?" he asked. "Oh, I didn't get their name," Tiffany said unsure what to say. "Tiffany you've worked here for years. Don't you know by now that you should always get the person's name?" he said frowning. "I'm sorry." "They called for Nicole?" "Yeah." "What if that was somebody that wanted to book a party?" "Why would they call Nicole?" "She has gone out on sales calls," he said remembering the many times he called when he was out of town and Nicole said she had been on sales calls. "I'm sorry," she said wishing she could tell him that Nicole had lied to him. "As much as we need the business..." he said resting his hand on her desk. "I said I was sorry. I don't think it was anyone important Clark." "That's easy for you to say. You're salaried. Nicole and I have the responsibility of running this business," he said getting up out of his chair and walking towards the window to look out. "Gee Clark. You're really making a big deal of this." "And you don't take anything seriously enough Tiffany. This is a business we're running here. Even though we work in this townhouse and Nicole and I live upstairs, it's still a business." "I can't believe this. I haven't done anything wrong." "Oh yes you have. You had an affair with my client Amir and he hasn't booked a party since his wife disappeared. Now you fail to take phone messages when someone calls for my wife." "What else can I do after saying I'm sorry for not taking the man's name?" Tiffany said thinking she might just tell him his wife was having an affair with the young neighbor. "Maybe I need to change everything around here," Clark said angrily turning to face her. "Like what?" Tiffany asked throwing her pen on the desk. CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
