CASTING! BECOME A STAR ON THIS INTERACTIVE SOAP OPERA. SEND YOUR PHOTO, CLICK FOR DETAILS! Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Wednesday November 20th 2002 "Are you sure you're okay Tiffany?" Clark asked as he helped Jan with her full-length mink coat. They stood at the door of his townhouse on their way out to lunch to celebrate Jan's announcement that she was engaged to Tiffany's estranged husband Skeeter. "Oh sure I've never been better," Tiffany said getting up from her desk and walking towards the kitchen so that they wouldn't see the tears in her eyes. "Jan could you excuse me one minute," Clark said. "Sure I knew this would be hard for her. But it's better she get used it now than find out on television. I think this was the least I could do," Jan said trying to look sympathetic. "Oh sure. You're absolutely right," Clark said smiling at his wealthy client. "I'll be right back. Why don't you call Tavern on the Green and make a reservation for us while I chat with Tiffany. This lunch will certainly be my treat," he said watching her nod her head and take her cell phone from her purse hitting speed dial. "Tiffany," Clark called out as he walked towards the kitchen and pushed the swinging door open. He saw his secretary standing with her back to him her hands on the counter as she stared out of the window. "Tiffany are you okay?" he asked softly walking up beside her and watching her wipe the tears from her cheeks. "Oh sure. Great. I'm just great Clark," she said choking back more tears. "I know this is a shock for you that Jan is marrying your ex-husband." "Ex? Skeeter and I are still married," she said turning to look at him. "Well, you haven't lived together in years now Tiffany." "Jan's been sneaking around with my husband all of these years and no one believed me when I told them I knew this," she said turning to look back out of the window so he wouldn't see the fresh tears. "But Tiffany, you've been seeing Amir all these years." "Oh so the fact that I've been with Amir makes it okay for her to steal my husband?" "Tiffany, Amir is married too. What's the difference?" "The difference is that his wife was in a coma in his country when I started seeing him. He didn't think she would live. Now she's missing and some extremist group has probably killed her and I can't see him anymore," she said her shoulders shaking as she openly cried. "That's bad luck for you and Amir. Have you talked to Amir lately?" "No. We haven't seen each other in a long time. I can't see him anymore." "Tiffany maybe that's for the best. Since his wife is missing, he might have moved on with his life now," Clark said attempting to put his arm around his secretary to comfort her. "Moved on? Is that what's going on here. I can't see Amir anymore and Jan is engaged to my husband," she said stepping back to avoid his hug. "I'm sorry. You'll find happiness again. But you can't be angry at Jan and Skeeter. Everyone knows you've been involved with Amir for years. You can't blame them for the choices you've made." "Great. So this is my fault. You blame me that Jan has been sneaking around with my husband!" she said turning to give him a cold stare. "I can see you are upset. Jan and I are going to Tavern on the Green for lunch. I hope we'll get back early. Maybe you should go home when we get back," he said turning and walking through the swinging doors into the living room. "All set?" Jan asked as she put her cell phone into her purse. "All set. I told her she can take the afternoon off when we get back from Tavern on the Green," he said walking towards the front door. "That's a good idea," Jan said glancing towards the kitchen and seeing Tiffany standing in the doorway watching them. "I can't be gone that long anyway. Skeeter and I have plans tonight," Jan said pulling the collar up on her mink coat as she turned to follow Clark out of the front door. CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
