CASTING! BECOME A STAR ON THIS INTERACTIVE SOAP OPERA. SEND YOUR PHOTO, CLICK FOR DETAILS! Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Tuesday October 15th 2002 "Stanley when are we going back to Washington?" Starlene asked picking up her glass from the coffee table. She took a sip of her after dinner drink as they sat on the sofa of his Upper East Side Mansion. "I don't know honey. You had a good time didn't you?" he asked putting his arm around her and admiring her voluptuous bosom in the low cut sweater she was wearing. "Yeah. I've been thinking it would be fun to live there. Maybe you could run for an office or something," she said feeling him slide his hand under the back of her tight sweater. "No. I won't be running for office." "Please Stanley. I'd like to be married to a senator or President or something." "No. Not me." "Why Stanley?" "I'd rather raise money for them and play on the sidelines," he said taking a sip of his brandy. "Well, let's get married and I'll help you raise money." "I don't know how you'd raise money Starlene," he said laughing. "Don't laugh at me Stanley." "Well, honey just because you went to one gala with me doesn't exactly make you a fundraiser," he said amused. "Well, I could do it. You wouldn't believe how many of those men liked me," she said throwing her head back in defiance. "Oh I bet they did," he said having noticed his young date had been the sensation of the gala. "They did Stanley. They all loved me," she said remembering how each man had taken advantage of every opportunity when Stanley wasn't beside her to ask for her phone number. She had given her number to a couple of the distinguished men thinking that if Stanley didn't soon commit to marry her she might just spend more time in Washington. "I know they did honey. You're not like the other women of Washington," he said thinking how jealous the men had been of his good fortune as they stood beside their stiff conservative older wives. "Well, you better hurry up Stanley and set a date for our wedding." "Soon honey. Why don't we go upstairs and practice being married," he said nodding his head towards his upstairs bedroom. "Does practice make perfect Stanley?" she asked smiling coyly. "Yeah." "Alright, a little more practice," she said getting up from the sofa. "I'll get another bottle of brandy," he said walking towards the kitchen. Starlene picked up her glass and walked towards the stairs. She quickly ascended the carpeted stairs and walked towards his bedroom. As she walked into the bedroom she heard him downstairs opening a cabinet in the kitchen. She knew he was searching for another bottle of brandy to bring upstairs. She glanced towards his desk and noticed a receipt from the Four Seasons Hotel in Washington where they had spent the evening. Curious how much he had spent for the gala, she picked up the receipt and noticed the many charges for room service and the expensive tally for their good time. She started to put the receipt back on the desk when she noticed another receipt from a real estate company in New York City. She quickly picked it up and saw it was a receipt for an apartment on Fifth Avenue. She looked closer and saw that Stanley had made a large deposit on an apartment overlooking Fifth Avenue. She glanced at the date and noticed that the apartment was to be occupied within the next few days. She glanced further down the lease to the bottom of the document and saw the line reading 'occupants signature'. She heard Stanley's footsteps ascending the stairs. CONTINUED TOMORROW.
