Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Thursday October 10th 2002 "Hi Greg, sorry I'm late," Nicole said closing the front door of the townhouse and walking towards the sofa. "That's okay. I'd wait all day for you," he said as his eyes filled with lust at the sight of her in the short leather skirt she was wearing. "You say the right things," she said to the handsome young neighbor. "I was just talking with your husband's secretary," he said turning to glance towards Tiffany. "Oh the two of you met," Nicole said walking towards the sofa where he was seated and taking a seat next to him. "Yeah. She was telling me that she lives on MacDougal and West 4th," he said glancing towards Tiffany. "Yeah," Nicole said crossing her legs and allowing the short skirt to rise up on her thighs. "Tiffany don't you have to run out to the printers today?" Nicole asked turning to glance towards Tiffany's desk. "No. That's next week." "Don't you have some outside errands you need to run?" Nicole asked as the phone started to ring on Tiffany's desk. She turned her attention back towards Greg when she saw Tiffany picking up the phone. "Manhattan Party Planning," Tiffany answered. "Could you please hold for a call," the operator said. "Sure," Tiffany said glancing back to the sofa where Nicole was seated next to Greg. "You didn't say anything to her did you?" Nicole whispered. "Just that the old guy…what's his name? Morgan, your real estate broker had showed me an apartment over there," he said as he slid closer to Nicole on the sofa. "You didn't tell where we found the apartment?" "No. Nothing like that," he said his eyes quickly focusing on her skirt as she crossed her legs again. "Don't say anything. You know what I mean?" Nicole whispered. "Oh. Of course not, I know how to be discreet," he said. "Are your parents home today?" Nicole asked carefully turning her head hoping Tiffany couldn't hear the question. Tiffany hit the volume down button on the phone to lower the sound of background music in the receiver of the phone so that she could better hear the conversation across the living room. "My parents are gone, but my brother is around today," he said touching her long dark hair with his fingers. "Do you think he'll leave?" "I don't know. Did you sign the papers on the new apartment Mr. Morgan found you?" "Not yet." "Man, I was counting on today," he whispered. "I'm not sure how long it will be before I sign the papers on the apartment." "We can go to my house today. My brother won't say anything." "When will your parents be back?" "They went to Connecticut. They won't be back for a few hours. Wanna go over there?" "I'm sorry to keep you holding. Mr. Master's asked me to call. Is his wife Nicole in the office?" the secretary asked as Tiffany held the phone to her ear with her eyes glued to Nicole and the young neighbor on the sofa nearby. CONTINUED TOMORROW.
