Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Wednesday September 25th 2002
Stanley listened as he heard Starlene turn off the water in his upstairs bathroom and open the door.  He watched her voluptuous bosom bouncing as she walked back to his bed and took a seat next to him.
"Would you like to go to lunch?" he asked eager to get her out of his house.  He'd spent the entire morning in bed with Nicole before Starlene arrived to find out why he'd canceled their regular weekly sessions at her apartment.
"No.  I'm not hungry. Come on Stanley.  You never sleep in late like you did this morning.  Let's really make a day of it," she said leaning onto the bed to smooth back his gray hair.
"I'm getting too old for this," he said smiling.
"You didn't really enjoy it the way you usually do honey.  I want to be sure you're happy and satisfied," she said pulling back the sheet from the bed and running her hand over his chest.
"You've made me happy," he said hoping that she wouldn't say too much about the difficulty that he had experienced.
"You were a little slow going this morning."
"Getting old honey.  It's hard to keep up with you."
"You sure you haven't been cheating on me Stanley?" she asked holding his chin in her hands.
"No.  I'd never do that," he lied.
"Stanley do I need to remind you that I did catch you on the sofa of your office
in the act with Nicole," she said raising her eyebrows.
"You have reminded me a thousand times Starlene. I told you that girl doesn't mean anything to me."
"You haven't seen her lately?"
"No.  I promise," he lied.
"Good.  Cause Tiffany and I really think she's been getting it on with Skeeter," she said referring to her sister's estranged husband that lives on Bleecker Street.
"Oh come on.  Give me a break.  You and Tiffany really do hate that girl."
"You don't think she'd do that?"
"Well, no.  She's married now," he said knowing full well that Nicole had been involved with Skeeter in the past but wasn't sure she'd have that much time since she had just gotten married.
"I'm telling you Stanley…Tiffany and I were having coffee across the street from Skeeter's apartment and she came out," Starlene said watching his face for a reaction.
"Oh, she's got an apartment over there."
"How do you know?"
"I heard Clark talking about it," he lied.
"Well, I don't trust her Stanley.  She's a tramp. I better not ever catch you with her again."
"You won't."
"And that means you better not ever be with her even if I don't catch you, you hear me?" she asked as her eyes narrowed.
"Of course not. She's married now, Starlene."
"Tiffany said that she was talking to Clark this morning and that Nicole came in and wanted him to fire her."
"No!"
"Yeah.  But then Clark will be in Florida and Nicole's choice was to do all the work while Clark's gone or to work with Jan," Starlene said laughing out loud.
"She didn't want to work with my daughter did she?" Stanley said knowing that no one wanted to work with his daughter Jan.
"Nope. So she told Clark not to fire Tiffany."
"See Nicole's got good intentions. Tiffany's got a good job there."
"Oh yeah.  Then she had to sit there while Nicole went upstairs with Clark and they did it so hard the bed almost went through the wall!" Starlene said her eyes widening as she spoke.
"Really?" he said surprised that Nicole wasn't as tired as he was after the session they had shared earlier this morning.
"Yeah.  Tiffany says she has to listen to that all the time."
"Well, he'll be gone to Florida soon."
"Yeah but then the noise might get worse."
"He'll be gone."
"Well, my sister Tiffany says she has no intentions of being the nanny to Nicole's screaming baby," Starlene said as she watched Stanley's face turn as pale as his white linen sheets.
