Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Monday August 26th 2002
Tiffany opened the door to the townhouse where she worked on MacDougal Street.  She didn't see anyone in the living room. She wondered if Clark and his new bride Nicole were still upstairs asleep.  She closed the door and walked to her desk to take a seat.  She glanced up quickly when she heard footsteps coming down the stairs.
"Hi Tiffany," Clark said smiling as he walked towards her desk.
"Hi Clark.  Wow, look at the suntan you got on your honeymoon."
"Yeah.  I got most of it on the yacht the day we were married," he said taking a seat at her desk as she started to go through the morning mail.
"Did anything come up while I was gone?"
"No.  It was really quiet."
"It's been too quiet for a long time now," he said picking up her appointment book from her desk and turning the pages.
"Well, next month is September and everyone will be back in town."
"I have some parties in Florida too," he said turning the pages of her book to September.
"Oh Nicole's Father has already come through with some business for you?" Tiffany wondered what kind of parties Nicole's mob boss father would send to Clark.
"Yeah. Nicole's father has asked me to organize a few parties for him," he said boastfully.
"What kind of parties?"
"Some building management company he owns."
"Oh, I didn't know he owned those kinds of businesses."
"Yeah, they own some buildings and they also have companies that do cleaning, trash collection and stuff like that."
"I had no idea," she said watching him closely.
"Her father also owns several companies that do shipping too.  I really like him.  Everyone at the wedding really respects him," Clark said remembering how the wedding guests had attended to his every need.
"Did the press cover your wedding at all?"
"There were a few choppers overhead but he had plenty of bodyguards that kept them at bay during and after the wedding."
"Wow, choppers overhead.  You must have felt like you were marrying a celebrity."
"I think Nicole and her father are of celebrity status there."
"So you liked everyone?"
"Oh yes.  I'm sure I've done the right thing.  Nicole's father will be investing heavily in my business now."
"Great.  So where is the bride?"
"She went over to her apartment on Bleecker Street this morning."
"Really?"
"Yeah she had to water a couple of plants.  Well, let's see what's new here," he said picking up the remote to the television set and turning on the all news channel.
"As if the heat in New York City wasn't enough," the reporter said as he stood beside a pier on the Hudson River.  "It was only a few days ago that Amir Hada's wife was reported missing.  Mr. Hada is reported to have been aboard his yacht the night his wife disappeared," the reporter said pointing behind him to Amir's yacht. "There has been a question about whether Mr. Hada was alone on his yacht the evening of his wife's disappearance.  Mr. Hada has refused to answer questions.  Then, last night, reports have it that Mr. Hada was seen leaving this apartment building at Washington Square Park," the reporter said as the tape showed Amir leaving Tiffany's apartment building last night. "This is the same building that Mr. Hada has been seen in the past when he was connected to Tiffany Diamond.  You will remember Ms. Diamond's former husband Skeeter Diamond was arrested for assaulting Mr. Hada there only a few months ago. And now we'll go to Diane on Wall Street for the latest corporate scandal," the reporter said as the cameras switched to downtown NYC.
"Tiffany I thought you said that you hadn't been seeing Amir," Clark said as he saw the shock on her face.
