"Tiffany is that you?"  Starlene called out from the living room when she heard the front door close of their apartment overlooking Washington Square Park.
"Yeah it's me," Tiffany said locking the door and walking towards the living room where she saw her young sister sitting on the sofa.
"How was your first day without Clark and that floozy?" Starlene asked referring to Tiffany's boss and his bride Nicole. Nicole had a secret romance with Starlene's lover Stanley a few months ago.
"Well, they're off to Florida to get married," Tiffany said throwing her purse on the table and taking a seat in a nearby chair.
"Guess what?" Starlene said picking up the remote to the TV and turning down the volume on the news.
"What?" Tiffany asked seeing the excitement on her sister's face.
"Looks like Stanley is really going to take me on a cruise."
"That's great honey," Tiffany said kicking off her high-heeled shoes.
"Yeah.  And I think I can get him to set the date for our wedding too."
"That would be nice.  Are you sure you want to marry him?" Tiffany asked remembering how Starlene had caught Stanley on the sofa of his office with Nicole.
"Sure. I mean now that Nicole's out of the picture and married.  Why not?"
"Aren't you afraid he'll cheat again?"
"No. Not if I can get married to him. I'll be damned sure he doesn't hire any more secretaries unless I interview them."
"I guess," Tiffany said rubbing her aching feet after walking home in the new heels.
"What's the matter?  You don't seem excited for me."
"It's just that I have a lot on my mind today."
"What?  I thought you'd be enjoying your time in the office without Clark and Nicole around."
"Well, first off…before Clark left he said he'd talk to me about my job when he gets back from his wedding and honeymoon."
"Well, that's normal, don't you think?"
"He said there would be some changes."
"Well, maybe he'll move the business into a real office and out of his townhouse now that he and that floozy will be married."
"There haven't been that many parties.  The business hasn't been making  much money.  He said that Nicole's father would be sending him business and that business would be in Florida," Tiffany said raising her eyebrows suspiciously.
"Oh.  So you think maybe he might move the business to Florida?"
"Maybe.  I don't know. He had to leave in a rush and we didn't get to talk."
"You could get another job."
"I don't know. The economy isn't that good."
"Well, Stanley could help us out."
"That's not the only thing that's bothering me though," she said looking down at the hardwood floors as her mind raced.
"What?"
"Amir called and he wants to see me again."
"Wow, that's cool."
"No, it's not. He's married and his wife is out of the coma."
"What did he say?
"That there were problems and he had to see me at least this once."
"Problems with his wife?"
"Yes."
"Then see him."
"I don't know Starlene.  I don't trust this."
"You don't trust him?"
"I don't trust me.  I don't know if I can resist him if I see him.  The last thing I want is to be his mistress."
"See him."
"The other problem is where?  If the newspapers or anyone finds out, that would surely cost me my job if I have one, and then there's his business and his wife.  I just don't know."
"I'll help you figure this out," Starlene said eagerly jumping up from the sofa and starting to pace the living room floor. "I have an idea!"
