"Look Stanley.  I can't advise you about your romance with Starlene."  Tiffany said into the phone as she used her spare hand to pull the drapes open and glanced down at the curbside.  She saw the handsome Italian, Megollo, embracing her sister Starlene as they stood beside his limo parked in front of their apartment building across from Washington Square Park.
  "You know that Starlene's jealous over that little fling I had with Nicole," Stanley said taking a puff on his cigar as he opened the window of his limo. The long car made it's way through traffic heading towards Washington Square Park.
"She did catch you in the act Stanley," Tiffany said remembering the story Starlene had told her about opening his office door and catching him with his secretary Nicole.
"Well, I took care of it. I had her transferred. I'm trying to do the right things," he said referring to the fact that Nicole's mob boss father had found out and forced him to find his daughter another job.  Stanley convinced Tiffany's boss Clark to hire Nicole.
"Yeah.  That worked out good for Clark."
"Yeah see?  Nicole's going to marry Clark now."
"Does that bother you Stanley?" Tiffany asked glancing back down at the curbside as she watched Megollo opening the door to his limo and Starlene sliding into the back seat.
"No. What does bother me though is that Nicole told me that her father's associate met Starlene the other night and I think he's been calling her. Did she mention that to you?"
"Yeah, she said something about that," Tiffany said watching as Megollo got into the back of the long white limo beside Starlene closing the door.
"I don't want Starlene involved with that guy. You know Nicole's Father is of questionable character."
"I read that he might be a crime boss in Florida," Tiffany said glancing down and noticing the sunroof on the limo opening.  From her position looking down from the window she could see into the back of the car. She saw her sister Starlene talking with Megollo. She saw Megollo kissing Starlene's hand and smiling.
"Look it's not a rumor. It's the truth.  I've had my men look into this and they say that Nicole's Father runs a big business. He's not the kind of man you want to cross."
"Then why have you continued your affair with Nicole Stanley?"
"I haven't," he lied.
"Stanley what about your rendezvous with Nicole at the Plaza Hotel?"
"I'm paying for Clark and her engagement party there," he said.
"You don't have to give me those excuses Stanley.  It's Starlene you have to worry about," Tiffany said watching Megollo kiss her sister on the cheek making his way down her neck towards her ample bosom that was clearly visible in the low cut top.
"I am worried. I'm concerned that Starlene will do something foolish."
"Me too."
"Maybe I should just give in and set a date for the wedding," Stanley said taking a long puff on his cigar and blowing the smoke out of the window of the limo as it came closer to Washington Square Park.
"Really.  You mean you think you are going to marry Starlene?" Tiffany asked noticing that Megollo had slipped the strap of Starlene's top off her shoulder as he continued to kiss her neck.
"I'll be there in a minute Tiffany.  I want to settle this with her tonight." Stanley said pouring himself another drink from the bar of his limo.
