Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Thursday June 27th 2002 "Starlene please be careful and come right back", Tiffany said watching her young sister walk out of the door of their apartment overlooking Washington Square Park. Tiffany glanced at her sister's short skirt, stiletto heels and low cut sweater and started to worry even more. "I will. Don't worry about me. I'll just tell him that I'm engaged to Stanley and I can't see him. That's all," Starlene said pushing the button for the elevator in the hallway as she stood in the doorway talking to her sister. "Maybe you should cover up some Starlene," Tiffany said noticing her sister's voluptuous cleavage in the low cut sweater. "It's okay. I know how to handle men," Starlene said trying to sound wise for her nineteen years. "But Starlene…. He's probably in the mob. You don't know how to handle men like that," Tiffany said as the elevator door opened and Starlene stepped in. "Men are men. They're all alike. I can handle this. Trust me," Starlene said as the door closed. Tiffany stepped back into the apartment and closed the door. She thought about the fact that Megollo's limo was parked in front of the apartment building. As long as the car was there, she would at least know where her young sister was. Besides, she thought, Starlene has her cell phone. She walked back into the living room and took a seat on the sofa turning up the sound on the TV with the remote. She heard the sound of the phone ringing and quickly turned down the volume on the TV again. She glanced towards the chair nearby and noticed it was Starlene's cell phone that was ringing. She quickly got up and walked to the chair picking up the phone. "Hello," she answered. "Tiffany Hi," Stanley said. "Hi Stanley. How are you?" "Fine. I've never heard you answer Starlene's cell phone before," the older man said. "Oh. Yeah. I don't usually answer it," Tiffany said wondering where this conversation could lead. "Is she there?" he asked. "No. She just stepped out for a few minutes. Do you want me to have her call you back?" "How long do you think she'll be gone. I really need to talk to her?" "Gee, I'm not sure Stanley. Is there anything wrong?" "I've known you a long time Tiffany. I guess you know I really like your sister." "Yeah," Tiffany said feeling uncomfortable with the conversation since Stanley had made passes at her before he met Starlene. "She really wants to get married." "Yeah she does." "I thought giving her a diamond would make her happy. She's so young." "You knew she was young when you got involved with her Stanley." "It's been many years since my wife died." "Yeah," Tiffany said walking towards the window and pulling open the sheer drapes to see if Starlene had arrived downstairs at Megollo's limo. "I've been a confirmed bachelor for years. I've been with the most beautiful women in New York and California. You know Laney was a Playbody centerfold," Stanley said taking a long puff on his cigar as he remembered his prior girlfriend that had moved to the West Coast. "Yeah. I remember that," Tiffany said thinking about the young woman that Stanley was seeing before he met her sister Starlene." Tiffany glanced out of the window and saw Megollo standing by his long white limo smiling as Starlene walked towards him, her voluptuous bosom bouncing in the low cut top. She watched as Megollo took Starlene into his arms and embraced her. "Do you think I should settle down with your little sister?" Stanley asked as he watched his limo weave through the traffic heading towards Washington Square Park. CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
