Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Monday June 24th 2002 "Tiffany are you home?" Starlene called out as she slammed the door to their apartment overlooking Washington Square Park. "In here," Tiffany said picking up the remote to the TV and turning down the sound. "I think I'm going to kill Nicole," Starlene said throwing her purse on a table as she walked into the living room where her sister was seated on the sofa. "What's the matter now?" "She called Stanley and told him that I went to a room at the Plaza Hotel with Megollo last night." "No!" "Yeah. Can you believe that? After she was the one that went to a room with my Stanley a few days ago. They can deny it all they want, but I know what I heard Stanley saying to her on the phone," Starlene said taking a seat on the sofa beside her sister. "The pot calling the kettle black," Tiffany said shaking her head in disbelief. "Well I've just had enough." "Did Stanley seem to be jealous?" "He didn't seem to be at first but then guess who called on my cell phone during our dinner?" "Nicole," Tiffany guessed. "No. She wouldn't dare." "Well who then?" "Megollo," Starlene said smiling. "Oh God Starlene." "I'm kinda glad he did." "Did Stanley know it was him?" "No. I just kept saying I'll have to call you later when Megollo wanted to talk. When I finally hung up Stanley asked who that was. I said just a friend and he did seem suspicious." "Did he ask if it was Megollo?" "Yeah. He did actually." "What did you say?" "I lied, of course. I told him it was an old boyfriend from Georgia." "Oh how funny. Did he seem jealous of that?" "Yeah a little. You know it made me think that maybe the best thing for me to do is keep Stanley jealous and then he'll set the date for us to get married." "That could work, but you have to be careful about this Megollo Starlene. You know if he's Nicole's father's associate he's probably in the mob too." "I'm not afraid of that." "You better be." "He lives in Florida how much trouble can he be? This could be perfect. I mean it's just enough to make Stanley think he'll lose me and Megollo won't be around much." "Starlene if you want to make Stanley jealous find a man that isn't in the mob. It's much too dangerous." "It's all hearsay. We don't know for sure that's he's involved with the mob or that Nicole's Father is in the mob either," Starlene said as her cell phone rang in her purse. She got up and walked to the table and took the phone from her purse. "Hello," she answered. "Starlene. I am in front of your building. I come to see you now," Megollo said in his thick Italian accent. CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
