Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Wednesday June 19th 2002 Tiffany took a sip of her morning coffee before opening the last piece of the mail on her desk. "Morning Tiffany," Nicole said walking down the stairs and into the living room of the townhouse in her silk robe. "Morning," Tiffany said briefly glancing up from the papers on the desk. She hoped her boss Clark would soon get an office and move the company out of the townhouse now that he had his lover Nicole staying with him every night. "Is there coffee in the kitchen?" Nicole asked. "Yeah." "Good. Clark's gone to Connecticut to see his parents this morning. I was just too tired to get up that early," Nicole said walking into the kitchen and pouring a cup of coffee. "He's already called. I told him you were sleeping. He said he'd call back later," Tiffany said stacking the unpaid bills on her desk. "Good. It was quite a night last night," Nicole said walking towards Tiffany's desk with her coffee. She took a seat in the chair in front of Tiffany's desk allowing the robe to fall open revealing her lack of clothing underneath. Tiffany glanced at Nicole and quickly turned her attention to her appointment book hoping Nicole would go upstairs with her coffee and leave her alone. "Well, did Megollo spend the night at your house?" "What are you talking about?" Tiffany asked pretending not to have ever heard the name before. "Your sister came to the Plaza Hotel last night looking for my father." "So?" Tiffany said turning the page in her appointment book. "Daddy had already left. Starlene came there wanting to rat on me and Stanley." "Maybe you should leave Stanley alone." "I don't want that old man." "That's not what it looks like Nicole." "Just because I had lunch with him at the Plaza the other day. Is that what makes everyone so suspicious?" "In a room?" "No one can prove that I was in a room with Stanley." "So you were in a room with him?" "No," she lied. "I really hope not Nicole. I mean you are engaged to Clark. Clark's a nice guy. That would really hurt him." "I'll worry about Clark, thank you." "I only said that Clark's nice." "So did your sister come home?' "Yes." "Did Megollo stay the night in your apartment?" "I don't know what you are talking about," Tiffany said. "Starlene came into the bar wanting to start a fight with me about Stanley. My Father's associate easily distracted her. Surely she told you about meeting him and drinking with us?" "She mentioned it." "Mentioned it? Is that all she did?" "I believe she mentioned that she had met someone that works with your father," Tiffany said glancing up into Nicole's smiling eyes. "Is that what she said? That she met him? Oh she met him all right. She's one to talk about honesty. Just wait till Stanley finds out what his little Starlene did last night." Nicole said getting up from the chair and walking across the living room. CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
