Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Friday May 31st 2002 "Did you work up a big appetite?" Nicole asked playfully as she and Stanley stood alone in the elevator of the Plaza Hotel as the car descended towards the hotel lobby. "Yes I did honey. Do you think you'll be able to keep Clark and me both satisfied if you marry him?" Stanley said allowing his hand to drift from her waist to her hips in the short tight skirt she was wearing. "I am going to marry him," she said smiling. "Are you still going to see me for lunch like this?" he asked thinking about the previous hour they had spent in the hotel room overlooking Central Park. "Sure. Where will you take me next?" "Where do you want to go?" "The Hudson Hotel sounds like fun," she said playfully as the elevator doors started to open. "The Hudson it is," Stanley said putting his arm around her as they walked through the lobby towards the Palm Court Restaurant. --------- "Clark I think it's wonderful that your Father is going to buy you and Nicole a waterfront house after the wedding," Jan said. She peered over the menu to look at him at their table next to a palm tree in the Palm Court of the Plaza Hotel. "Yeah, things are really great. I never thought my Father would do this either. I knew he was looking forward to me getting married one day but he never told me he'd be giving me a nice inheritance for the occasion. Everything's great lately. This is a nice surprise too, you bringing me to lunch at the Plaza," he said smiling as he picked up his menu from the table. "You deserve it," she said glancing around the room to see if Nicole and her father were anywhere in sight yet. She remembered overhearing her Father's telephone conversation with Nicole. Stanley had told the young girl he would take her to lunch in the Plaza after they had spent some time alone in the hotel room he had reserved for them. "What are you having for lunch?" Clark asked looking up from his menu. "I think I'll just have a salad. You know it's bathing suit time again." "I guess I better do the same thing. I don't want Nicole to run off with someone else," Clark said laughing as he noticed the waiter coming towards the table. "You don't worry about Nicole do you Clark?" "No. I was just kidding. I know Nicole loves me. We have a strong relationship." "Good. You certainly wouldn't want to marry someone that you didn't trust." "Never." "Besides your Father would be very upset to buy you a house and then have the marriage break up wouldn't he?" "That's for sure. He wants Nicole and me to fill the house with kids." "Is that what you want?" "I don't really know. I've done enough kids parties to think twice about that." "Well what does Nicole want?" Jan asked glancing through the nearby palm tree and seeing a glimpse of her Father walking into the restaurant with Nicole on his arm. "I haven't really talked to her about it yet. I do want my Father to buy us the waterfront house though," Clark said laughing. "Oh, of course. Well….huh…." she said nervously glancing down at the table. "What's the matter Jan," Clark asked. "I believe I see my Father's here for lunch today too." "Really. That's great maybe he could join us," Clark said starting to turn around to look behind him. "That would be interesting," Jan mumbled as she saw the shock on her Father's face when he spotted them through the palm trees. CONTINUED MONDAY. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
