Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Wednesday May 29th 2002 "Nicole honey you're the best," Stanley said kissing her on the cheek. He watched her pull the sheet up to her chin in the chilly air conditioning of their room in the Plaza Hotel. "I bet you tell Starlene that too," she said playfully. "We aren't going to talk about her now." "Are you going to marry her Stanley?" "I don't know," he said propping his head up on the pillow beside her. "Why did you give her that big diamond?" "She was furious with me when she caught us together." "So was my Father." "Well, thankfully things are getting better between your Father and me," he said pulling the sheets off of her and admiring her firm young body. "Unless Daddy found out that we were doing this today," she said smiling. "But he won't honey. He's in Florida." "Thank God." "You and your Father get along don't you?" "Well…. He's happy I'm getting married." "He likes Clark?" "Yeah. Daddy thinks this party planning business will be good for our family." "Nicole I've been wanting to ask you about that." "What?" "Your Father's business." "What do you want to know?" "Is your Father a crime boss really?" "Look Stanley. You've read the stuff they say about my Father in the newspapers. His record speaks for itself." "That's the newspapers. That doesn't necessarily mean it's true." "Just don't get on the wrong side of Daddy. That's all I have to say." "Does Clark know about your Father's business?" "No. I told him Daddy's got a lot of money and everyone's always accusing him of stuff." "Is that fair? I mean you're going to marry the guy and not tell him?" "Clark's in love." "Can't blame him for that. I mean look at you," Stanley said admiring her young body and starting to feel aroused again. "Clark loves money too. His Father will be giving him an inheritance now that he's getting married." "Oh, really?" "Yeah. His Father is really excited about us getting married. Seems that Clark had never brought a woman home until me." "Really?" "Yeah. I think they were beginning to think he's gay," she said laughing. "Do you think he is?" "No. We do it. Why?" "I had started wondering myself." "Well, I don't think so." "You'd be enough to turn him around anyway," Stanley said kissing her gently on the neck. "Enough Stanley Morgan. You promised me lunch at the Plaza and it's lunchtime," she said pushing him away. "Just one more time," he said pulling her towards him. __________ "You know Clark…this would be a perfect place for you and Nicole to have your wedding," Stanley's daughter Jan said as the doorman opened the heavy brass door at the entrance to the Plaza Hotel.
