"As we graze it grows"

2 pounds jumbo shrimp
3 quarts boiling water
2 slices onion
1 slice lemon
1/8 teaspoon oregano
1/8 cup olive oil
2 tablespoons melted butter
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
6 tablespoons Ketchup
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup beer
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
3 drops Tabasco sauce, or to taste
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped

Put the shrimp in the water, add the onion slices, lemon slice and oregano and cook three minutes. Drain the shrimp;  shell and de-vein.  Combine the remaining ingredients and pour over the hot deveined and shelled shrimp. The shrimp should be just covered with the mixture.  Let marinate in the refrigerator 3 to 4 hours.  Cook the shrimp over hot charcoals in a small grill or hibachi or under the broiler until tender, about five minutes. Serve immediately.  Serves 4.
