Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Thursday May 23rd 2002 "How did your trip to Connecticut go today?" Skeeter asked Nicole as he watched her walk from his kitchen to take a seat beside him on his futon sofa. "Nice. Clark and I looked at a couple of houses on the water," she said taking a sip of the beer before handing it to Skeeter. "You going to marry that dude?" "I guess. You know I don't really want to get married. I'm having fun," she said rubbing his masculine thigh as she watched him take a long sip of the beer and place the can on the coffee table in front of them. "Are you a little bored with Clark?" "He's not like you, that's for sure," she said unbuttoning his shirt. "You miss me don't you Baby?" Skeeter said as he rubbed her thigh in the short skirt she was wearing. "Yeah. I do," she said kissing his neck. "Why didn't you tell your Daddy you want to marry me?" he said reaching under her sweater as his fingers searched for the clasp of her French lingerie. "I've told you a million times. Daddy's against you because you're still married to Tiffany." "I'll soon have the divorce though. I think if you told him you want to marry me he'd be happy about it." "It's too late. I'm already engaged now." "Yeah, but you were engaged to Vinny too," he said referring to her ex-boyfriend in Florida. "Daddy held Vinny responsible for my relationship with Stanley." "You seen Stanley anymore since that day he stopped by while Clark was gone?" "No. He told me we'd get a room at the Waldorf for lunch." "A room at the Waldorf for lunch? He really wants to be with you bad," Skeeter said pulling her sweater open in the front. "He's got it bad," she said smiling broadly. "He's an old man Nicole. You might kill him," Skeeter said kissing her neck. "He never called." "Maybe he can't handle you and Starlene both." "I don't know. It's strange. I called his office a couple of times and left a message and he never called me back." "I think I can keep you satisfied. Want me to get us a room at the Waldorf? Is that what you like… getting it on in a fancy hotel?" he said as he unzipped her skirt. "Yeah. I like the excitement. It's weird though how Stanley didn't return my call. Then Daddy kept questioning me about Stanley too. It's almost like he knew that the two of us had been together again." "Your Daddy wants the best thing for his little girl," Skeeter said admiring the red lace. "I bet Tiffany called my Daddy and told him," she said referring to Skeeter's estranged wife that worked in her office. "She's not like that." "Don't defend her Skeeter. Are you still in love with her?" "No. Baby. You're the only one I want." "What about Jan?" she asked referring to Stanley's daughter. "She's always busy lately with her deals and stuff. She's not like you. If I see her once or twice a month that's enough to keep her satisfied." "That would never be enough for me," she said as he pushed her back on the sofa. "I know that's why I think you should tell your Daddy you want to marry me instead of Clark," he said pulling at the fabric of her short skirt. "He thinks I'm in love with Clark." "No. I don't think your Father believes that for a minute," he said brushing her dark hair from her face. "Why do you say that?" she said pushing him away from her suspiciously. "I just know." "Skeeter have you been talking to my Father?" "He's called a few times." "When?" "After you bailed me out of jail. He wanted to know more about me." "Daddy never told me that he called you." "He knows I'm looking out for you Nicki. Your Daddy and I are a lot alike. He trusts me," Skeeter said smiling as he allowed her skirt to fall on the floor beside the sofa. CONTINUED TOMORROW.
