"Tiffany I'm home", Starlene called out slamming the door of the townhouse loudly hoping to wake her sister if she had gone to bed.
"I'm in here," Tiffany called out from the living room.
Starlene walking into the living room and kicked off her high heel shoes taking a seat on the sofa beside her sister.
"How was your evening?" Tiffany asked taking another chocolate from the box of candy on her lap. She picked up the remote and turned down the volume on the old movie she was watching as the TV station went to commercial break. "Want a piece?" she asked offering the box of chocolates to Starlene.
"No, thanks," Starlene said watching Tiffany put the half empty box of chocolates on the coffee table in front of her.
"Well, how was Amir and his wife Malena?" Tiffany asked as her voice cracked in pain.
"We didn't go to Amir's house. His wife wasn't feeling up to it.  We went to a restaurant just the three of us."
"Really?  Is she really sick?" Tiffany asked hopefully.
"No. I really think she wasn't ready to meet me."
"Oh. How's Amir?" she asked pretending not to be very interested.
"He's okay.  Tiffany he really misses you."
"Did you tell him I want to send this ring back to him," Tiffany said glancing down at the three-carat diamond on her finger.
"Yeap."
"What did he say.  Are you going to give it to him for me?" Tiffany said reaching for another piece of chocolate.
"He doesn't want it back.  He says it was given to you in love and he still loves you."
"Right. And his wife more."
"No.  I don't think that's necessarily so."
"Well, tell me then, what happened."
"I didn't get to talk to him alone very long.  I can tell he really loves you though."
"I don't want to hear it anymore," Tiffany said taking another chocolate from the box.
"Quit eating that candy, you'll get fat."
"What does it matter," Tiffany said looking away.
"It matters a lot.  I told Amir that you were seeing a wealthy single man, so you'll have to look good."
"You what?"
"You heard me."
"Why did you tell him that Starlene. I haven't had a date in months."
"He doesn't have to know that.  Besides he was really upset."
"He was?" Tiffany asked smiling as she swallowed the chocolate.
"Yes."
"I don't believe you did that Starlene."
"You have to go to Clark and Nicole's engagement party with this new guy. Amir said his wife would be going with him."
"But I don't have another guy."
"I told Stanley and he said he could fix you up with this guy."
"Oh Starlene I wish you hadn't done that."
"Well, I did.  Besides maybe you'll like him too."
"Who is it?"
"I'm sure he'll be a millionaire, Stanley will take care of that," Starlene said proud of her accomplishment.
"But who?"
"You'll meet him soon," Starlene said taking the box of chocolates away from her sister.
