South Street Seaport really is one of the most beautiful areas of New York City. If you haven't been there this year, you're in for some pleasant surprises. It's even better! We'll show you some of the changes on this page and the next page of today's tour.
Top right picture you see the Ambrose which is one of the historical ships of the South Street Seaport Museum.
Center right picture was taken looking down from the steps of Pier 17. On Pier 17 you'll find a huge mall with stores and restaurants where you can enjoy dining with panoramic waterfront views.
One of the great changes at the South Street Seaport is the repositioning of the South Street service road which ran North past the area. Now you can walk along a pretty promenade and see views of the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges. Bottom right picture you see the Brooklyn Bridge and a seagull enjoying the nice weather.
