Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Friday May 3rd 2002 Skeeter stood at the door of his apartment on Bleecker Street admiring Tiffany's long blonde hair as she came up the stairs towards his apartment. "Hay Baby," he said smiling broadly. "Hi Skeeter," she said walking past him avoiding his eyes as she walked into the apartment. "You don't seem too happy to see me Tiffany," he said closing the metal door and walking towards the futon sofa to take a seat beside her. "How am I suppose to act Skeeter? Only a few days ago you were in jail for hitting Amir," she said referring to her wealthy married lover. The scandal was in the newspaper and on TV. "You can't blame me for that Tiffany. Money doesn't give him the right to my wife." "Let's don't go into it again Skeeter. You said you wanted to talk to me, surely it's not about Amir." "No, it's the divorce Tiffany. We've been separated three years now. I thought maybe we'd go ahead and get the divorce." "Does this have anything to do with Nicole?" "You jealous Baby?" he asked putting his arm on the back of the sofa allowing his hand to touch her shoulder. "No," she said leaning forward to avoid his touch. "Then I guess there isn't a problem with me telling the lawyer to draw up the papers," he said admiring her small waist in the jeans she was wearing. "You going to marry Nicole?" she asked turning to look at him. "Maybe," he said unable to hide his pride. "Better get in line." "What the hell is that remark suppose to mean?" "Clark might beat you to the altar," she said referring to her boss. "Oh you think so huh?" "I told you I saw them on the sofa in the act." "I asked Nicki about that and she said you were lying." "Why would I lie Skeeter?" "To keep me." "Why would I want to keep you?" "Because your boyfriends' married and he's never going to leave his wife for you." "This isn't about me, it's about you and Nicole," she said as the phone on the coffee table rang. "Hello," he answered hoping it wasn't his boss since he was supposed to be out on sales calls today. "Skeeter, I just got back into town. I see you've been very busy," Jan said folding the newspaper and throwing it on the seat beside her. "Yeah. I guess you could say that," he said in a hushed voice. "I need to talk to you right away," Jan said. "I'm kind of tied up right now." "Skeeter we have to get some things straight right away." "I could call you back in about an hour," he said avoiding Tiffany's eyes as she turned to look at him. "Look I've been out of town for days," she said glancing out of the window of her limousine as it made it's way towards the village. "I'll have to call you back I have another call," he said hearing the call waiting. "Right away. I have to talk to you," Jan said. "Okay," he said hitting the button on the phone. "Hello," he answered as he watched Tiffany get up and walk towards the window to look down on Bleecker Street. "Skeeter. I need to talk to you right away," Nicole said. "What is it?" "A wedding," she said. CONTINUED MONDAY. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
