Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Wednesday April 24th 2002 "Tiffany is that you?" Starlene called out as she heard the front door of the apartment overlooking Washington Square Park slam shut. "Yeah, it's me," Tiffany said walking into the living room. "You're home early, what happened?" Starlene asked walking into the living room and seeing Tiffany standing in front of the window looking down on Washington Square Park. "I ran into that rat of a husband of mine. I showed him the newspaper article and he had the nerve to tell me that Nicole is in love with him," Tiffany said staring out of the window. "Funny," Starlene said taking a seat on the sofa. "I got furious and told him that I caught Nicole on the sofa with Clark this morning." "Was he mad?" "Oh yeah. Now I'm worried that he'll go over to Clark's and confront her." "She deserves it Tiffany." "Yeah, but Clark is already mad at me for not knocking before I opened his office door. He'll surely be furious if my ex-husband comes to his office angry and jealous. You know how hot headed Skeeter is," Tiffany said looking out of the window towards MacDougal Alley and Clark's office. "Do you see him?" "Nope. But he was headed that way when I left him on the sidewalk." "Oh gee. This just gets worse and worse doesn't it?" Starlene said. "Yes, it really does. I still haven't even talked to Amir to see how he's doing." "The newspaper said he was in 'stable condition'." "Yeah I read that. Still though, I would like to talk to Amir. My life is just ruined Starlene," Tiffany said as fresh tears started to roll down her cheeks. "What happened. Why aren't you at the office?" "I'm supposed to be picking up Nicole's business cards from the printer. I stopped and picked up a newspaper on the corner and Skeeter came by," she said wiping the tears from her cheeks. "Did you pick up the business cards?" "No. I forgot them after I ran into Skeeter." "Are you going back to the office?" "I guess I have to. But if Skeeter's there I can't. I don't want to confront him again, especially in front of Clark and Nicole." "I'll call there and ask for you," Starlene suggested. "Okay. That's a good idea," Tiffany said turning to watch Starlene pick up the phone and dial the number at her office. "Manhattan Party Planning," a woman answered. "This is Starlene, Tiffany's sister. Who's this?" "This is the answering service for Manhattan Party Planning," the woman said. "Where's Clark?" "He called and said he would be out." "Is Nicole there?" "Mr. Masters just said that we should pick up all calls for a while. I'm sorry Miss that's all the information I have. Would you like to leave a message?" "No. Thanks anyway," Starlene said hanging up the phone. "Well?" Tiffany asked. "Either Skeeter is there killing them, or Clark and Nicole are upstairs on his sofa doin' it again," Starlene said. CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
