Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Wednesday April 17th 2002
"Mornin' Tiffany," Clark said as he came from the kitchen with his morning coffee.  He took a seat in the chair in front of her desk as he watched her settle in for work in his townhouse on MacDougal Street.
"Hi Clark," she said putting her purse in her desk drawer and taking a seat at her desk.
"I know you heard about Amir," Tiffany said glancing up at him.
"Yes, the entire world has heard about it. Have you talked to him?"
"No. I wish I could see him…but you know his wife is probably at the hospital. So I can't possibly go there."
"They said on the news that Amir was on his way to see you."
"Yeah.  We were going to talk over our relationship.  Starlene had just left the apartment and was outside of our building when Skeeter saw her from Washington Square Park.  He came over to talk to her at about the same time Amir's limo pulled up."
"That's terrible Tiffany.  I saw that clip on the news when the police hauled Skeeter off in the patrol car and he said you asked him 'to get rid of Amir for you', because you were angry about being dumped."
"Oh p-l-e-a-s-e!  That makes me so sick."
"So there wasn't any truth to that?"
"Of course not Clark.  I'm surprised that you would even ask."
"Well, I had to.  I needed to know."
"Well, believe me it happened just as I told you. I had no idea that Skeeter would be outside of my building."
"What a mess.  I'm sorry all of this happened," Clark said thinking about the parties he had booked with Amir later in the month that probably would be canceled now.
"Hi Everybody," Nicole said walking in the front door and closing it behind her.
"Hi Nicki," Clark said smiling broadly as he watched his young secretary walk towards him in her short red skirt.
"Man Tiffany you are all over the news lately," Nicole said laughing.
"It's not funny Nicole," Tiffany said.
"I didn't say it was funny. I said I've seen you on the news. You don't have to snap at me like that," Nicole said turning and walking quickly up the stairs towards her office.
"What's the matter with her?" Tiffany asked.
"I don't know she seems really upset. I better go see," Clark said throwing his newspaper on Tiffany's desk and rushing towards the stairway to go up to Nicole's office.
Clark saw Nicole sitting at her desk applying lip-gloss as he walked towards her office. 
"Nicki.  Are you okay?" he asked taking a seat in the chair in front of her desk.
"Oh yeah. I'm okay.  Why?"
"You just seemed so upset with Tiffany, that's all," he said leaning back in the chair watching her put her lip gloss back into her purse.
"I'm just tired of her accusing me of stuff," Nicole said.
"What?  What has Tiffany done?"
"She's just nasty to me Clark. I don't think she ever liked me working here.  Her life is a mess and she takes it out on me."
"Gee. I'm sorry Nicki.  I didn't know it was bothering you so much."
"I just wanted you to know that there's always been a strain between me and Tiffany. I guess it's because of her sister Starlene.  You know Starlene was always so jealous of me and Stanley."
"Yeah I know. Don't worry about it.  I can handle Tiffany," Clark said smiling at Nicole.
Tiffany turned on the radio on her desk.
"This just in to Twenty-four-seven news radio…Skeeter Diamond the jilted husband that is accused of attacking the celebrity billionaire Amir Hada was released from his downtown jail cell this morning."
