There's a lot of money spent on advertising in Times Square. Millions of people pass through this busy area and everyone wants their product seen.
Top right picture you see the Jumbotron on Broadway.
Center right picture you see some of the crowds in Times Square. The sidewalks are packed with people and the traffic is heavy. This makes looking up at those expensive advertisements a little risky. That's probably why the advertisers make signs that flash and scroll to get your attention.
Bottom right picture you see one of the reasons you want to take the time to look up. This is a house on top of a building. Of course, it's an advertisement, but it's actually bigger than most apartments in NYC. Who knows one day we might bring you pictures of people living in this advertisement.
