Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Wednesday March 27th 2002 Tiffany sat at her desk staring at the blinking light on the phone. She couldn't believe she had just picked up the phone to call her sister and overheard her estranged husband Skeeter talking with Nicole. She had to hang up when she heard her boss Clark coming down the stairs. "Tiffany I'm going to the accountant's I might not be back in before you leave," Clark said walking towards her desk with his coat on. "Okay." "What's the matter?" "Oh nothing," she said smiling as she tried to hide her shock. "Nicole's upstairs. I think she's going to be here the rest of the afternoon," he said walking to the front door and opening it. "Fine." Tiffany said watching him close the door. She glanced back at the lights on the phone and noticed that Nicole had hung up. She heard Nicole turn the music up in the office above her. The phone on Tiffany's desk rang. "Manhattan Party Planning," she answered. "Hay Baby," Skeeter said. Tiffany could feel her stomach turn. She had just heard Skeeter calling Nicole 'Baby' on the phone only a second ago. "What do you want Skeeter?" "What's the matter with you?" "What the hell would you care?" "Look I didn't call you to be abused." "Then why did you call me Skeeter?" "I want us to get together and talk about the divorce." "I just bet you do." "I've been telling you a long time now that I wanted us to finalize this thing." "What's there to talk about Skeeter?" "I wrote down some stuff I want in the divorce. I want to go over it with you." "You do, huh?" "Yeah." "Are you planning on getting married again or something Skeeter?" "No." "You want to marry Nicole?" Tiffany said as she heard Nicole's footsteps on the floor in the office upstairs. "Nicole? So now you're accusing me of seeing the secretary in your office. Is that it?" Skeeter asked hotly. "That's right. I'm not only accusing you. I know you are." "Well, you're wrong as usual Tiffany. I called you trying to be nice and get along and you accuse me of that." "What about Jan? You seeing her too?" "What's the matter with you Tiffany? Your rich boyfriend's got his wife coming home and you can't handle it. Is that it? You lonely? You need me to make you feel better? Is that it?" "Skeeter you are the most disgusting human being that ever existed." "That's not what you used to say." "I didn't know you then. I know you now." "Well, if I'm so disgusting then you surely want the divorce," he said. "I might not give you the divorce," Tiffany said looking up when she heard Nicole coming down the stairs. "We need to talk." "I'll come by your apartment in a few minutes Skeeter," Tiffany said sweetly looking up into Nicole's shocked face. CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
