Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Tuesday March 26th 2002 Tiffany sat at her desk finishing the monthly billing for her job at Manhattan Party Planning. Tired from looking at the numbers all afternoon she decided to call her sister Starlene. She put her pen down and picked up the phone to dial without looking to see which lines were in use. "Baby, can't you come over?" Skeeter said. Tiffany's heart jumped when she heard her estranged husband's voice on the phone. She quickly threw her hand over the mouthpiece and listened. "I don't know. I was supposed to make a sales call. Aren't you going to work this afternoon?" Nicole asked. "I'm sick of working that job. I think Jan's been talking to my boss Bob Alexander. He's been a nightmare to work for lately." "Maybe you need to go see her. Put a little smile on her face," Nicole said playfully. "You want me to do that?" "It's up to you Skeeter. I told you that you can see anyone you want." "That's not what I want to hear Baby." "What do you want to hear?" "Maybe I want to hear that you want me, just me." "You mean like marry you or something?" "Yeah Baby. Why not?" "You're married for one thing. Your wife is right downstairs in this office," Nicole said laughing. "She's only my wife on paper." "Well, why don't you get a paper that says she isn't your wife?" "Would that make you happy?" "I don't know Skeeter. I've got my job and everything is going great now. I'm finally away from my Father. I don't know if I'm ready to settle down." "But your old man would probably give you a fortune if you got married and settled down, then you wouldn't have to work." "But I like working. It makes me feel grown up." "Maybe you could open your own business with the money your old man would give you." "Maybe." "When's he coming to town?" "I don't know Skeeter. Why?" "I'd like to meet him." "We'll see." "You want me to come over to your place tonight?" Skeeter asked. "No. I'll stop by your apartment after work." "How late will you be?" "It depends on Clark." "You getting it on with him Nicki?" "What do you care?" "Are you?" "I thought we had an understanding that you could keep your life and I could do whatever I want. I mean you are still married Skeeter." "That's going to change soon. Then will you be faithful to me Nicki?" "Maybe." "Then you'll introduce me to your Father?" "Yeah. I guess so. I never thought you'd want us to be a couple like this Skeeter." "I never met anyone like you Nicki". Tiffany heard Clark walking down the stairs towards her office. "What about Jan?" Nicole asked as Tiffany looked up and saw Clark approaching her desk. CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
