"I'm starving, you want to take a shower then we could go out to dinner tonight?"  Skeeter asked turning towards Nicole and kissing her lightly on the cheek.
"I don't know. I was supposed to go back to the office this afternoon," she said pulling the sheet on the bed up to cover them.
"Are you going? After this," he asked smiling.
"I don't think so."
"How are you liking it?" he asked referring to her new job working at Manhattan Party Planning with his estranged wife Tiffany.
"It's great."
"Is my wife hard to work with?"
"She's jealous."
"Is she?"
"Yeah. I can see it all over her face when Clark told her to order me business cards."
"You didn't tell her anything about us did you?"
"Are you crazy Skeeter?  Of course not".
"Good."
"Why I thought you didn't care what she thinks."
"I don't care. I just don't want her mad at me until after the divorce."
"Are you going to get the divorce?"
"Yeah. I called her the other day and told her I wanted to finalize it."
"After all these years.  I bet she was shocked."
"Well she's had that rich boyfriend of hers for a long time."
"Yeah but he's married with a wife in a coma."
"Not my problem.  It's time we get the divorce."
"I'm glad to hear you say that Skeeter."
"Are you?" he asked turning as he lifted his head off the pillow and propped it on his hand so he could look at her.
"Yeah. Did I have anything to do with it?"
"Maybe."
"Or was it Jan?"
"Don't bring her up again."
"I told you I didn't care if you see her or not."
"Maybe I want you to care."
"Oh really.  You want me to be jealous of Jan?"
"Maybe."
"You want me to tell Jan that I've been warming your bed when she's not around?" she said smiling.
"Well, don't go that far."
"I thought so."
"No.  I mean I don't know how much longer I'll be seeing her though."
"Really!  Why?"
"Maybe you're having an effect on me Nicki," he said pulling the sheet off of her and running his fingers over her bare stomach.
"Am I?"
"Yeah. I've never met anyone like you."
"That's a compliment I guess."
"Yeah.  I'd like to know more about you. I'd like to meet your Father," he said watching her face closely.
"Why? Do you want to marry me or something?" she asked laughing.
"Is that so far out of the realm of things?" he asked pushing her long dark hair from her face.
"No, maybe not.  But it is a surprise since only a few weeks ago you weren't certain we'd be seeing each other anymore."
