"Nicole, why did Tiffany call you?"  Skeeter asked as he quickly retracted his hand from inside her sweater.
"I'm being transferred to work in the office with your wife," Nicole said smiling.  She watched Skeeter's face whiten as they sat on the futon in his apartment on Bleecker Street.
"Why didn't you tell me that before?" he asked scooting over a little further from her.
"Why Skeeter?  What does it matter?  I thought there weren't going to be any strings attached in our relationship anyway?"
"Well, no.  Of course not, but I didn't know you'd be working with my wife."
"Wife?  I thought Tiffany was your ex?"
"Same thing. Nicole, this really makes it more difficult for us to be together."
"Why?" she asked rubbing his shoulder as she slid closer to him on the futon.
"You work for Jan's Father and I'm seeing Jan.  Now you'll be working in the office with my ex-wife."
"Yeah, but I won't be working in the office with Stanley anymore."
"You aren't working for Jan's Dad anymore?"
"Nope.  My Father found out that Stanley was helping me get a job posing for Playbody and he was furious."
"You never told me that before."
"Nope".
"So you aren't posing for Playbody now?"
"No. I did the preliminary shots and that's what my Father saw.  He was so angry he came up from Florida and talked to Stanley about it."
"How did he find out?"
"My boyfriend Vinny showed him the pictures."
"That's something else.  So I guess Jan's old man almost had a heart attack being caught with a young woman like you."
"He is scared to death!" she said laughing.
"Your old man must be mean?"'
"He is.  Everyone's afraid of my Father."
"Should I be?"
"Why would you be?  I mean you're almost divorced.  Besides he doesn't know anything about you."
"What about your boyfriend? Where is he now?"
"It's over with us.  I mean my Father wanted me to marry him.  After this thing with Stanley, Father fired Vinny. So I broke up with him. Vinny isn't enough man for me."
"Has Vinny got money?"
"Nope.  He worked for my Father."
"But not anymore?"
"Nope."
"So you broke up with Vinny and you can't see Jan's old man anymore?"
"That's right."
"So you're here with me."
"Yes I am.  And how much longer are we going to waste time talking about this?" she asked starting to unbutton his shirt.
"Just trying to get the picture."
"What else do you need to know Skeeter?"
"What does your Father want?
"He wants me married."
"Why?"
"Because he thinks I'll settle down and he won't have to worry about me anymore."
"Is he right about that?"
"I guess.  If I married the right man."
"What kind of man does your Father have in mind for you? One with money?"
"No. Vinny didn't have any money.  That's not what Father is looking for, we have plenty of money. My Father just wants me safely married so that he can take care of his business without worrying about me."
"Do you think your Father would like me?" Skeeter asked pulling her closer to him.
