Many years ago Soho was an industrial area.  Soho was declared an historical district in 1973 for the largest concentration of 19C cast iron buildings in the United States. Today Soho is the upscale international center for artists and collectors.  This is the place where trends start in fashion and home furnishings. Top right picture you see Grand and West Broadway. Center right picture you see Vesuvio Bakery. This wonderful little bakery has watched the area grow from industrial to sophisticated.   Vesuvio Bakery at 160 Prince Street has been baking great bread for 82 years.
