"Tiffany!  Tiffany!  Are you awake?" Starlene called out purposely slamming the heavy metal door to their apartment overlooking Washington Square Park.  She took off her pink fur trimmed jacket and threw it onto a nearby chair in the living room as she rushed towards her older sister's bedroom.
"Tiffany.  I hope I didn't wake you up…" she said as she watched her sister putting on her robe and walking towards the bedroom door.
"What's going on Starlene?" Tiffany asked rubbing her eyes and noticing the broad smile on the young girl's face.
"Come in the living room and sit down," Starlene said excitedly waving her sister towards the hallway.
"It's late Starlene.  This better be good," Tiffany said following her  into the living room. Starlene turned on the lamp beside the sofa.
"You better take a seat!" Starlene said patting the sofa cushion beside her.
"What on earth is it?" Tiffany asked.
"This!" Starlene said holding her hand out under the lamp for Tiffany to see the large sparkling diamond ring.
"Ah!  Starlene!  Did Stanley give it to you?" Tiffany asked holding her sister's hand and gazing at the diamond.
"Yes!  Yes! Yes! Stanley gave me this ring."
"Starlene that's wonderful!  I know you must be so surprised.  I mean, I know you were really angry with him over Nicole," Tiffany said referring to Starlene catching her older lover on the sofa of his office with his young secretary.
"I think it's over with him and that floozy."
"Really.  Did he say that?"
"He said she probably won't be working there anymore," she said holding her hand under the lamp and turning it from side to side to admire her new ring.
"Wow that's wonderful Starlene."
"I told you I'd get rid of her."
"Why do you think she's leaving?"
"Remember the proofs of her posing for Playbody, that I found in Stanley's desk?"
"Yeah…"
"I gave them to her boyfriend Vinny and he showed them to her Father."
"Wow!  That did it, huh?"
"Yeap! "
"Is her Father mad?"
"Well, that's the only problem."
"What do you mean?"
"He's furious."
"I guess Nicole will get what's coming to her then, won't she?" Tiffany asked proud of her sister's accomplishment.
"Well, I hope Nicole's the one that gets it. Stanley's worried about her Father."
"What do you mean?"
"He's very powerful and Stanley's afraid he might be r-e-a-l-l-y mad at him."
"You mean, like…"
"Yeah, so Stanley hired security."
"Oh God, he must really be worried," Tiffany said thoughtfully.  "Well, what about the wedding?  Did you set a date?" Tiffany said trying not to spoil her younger sister's big moment.
"Not exactly."
"What does that mean?"
"He said we'd see about that once this settles down with Nicole and her Father."
"Oh.  But it's an engagement ring, right?"
"Looks like one to me," Starlene said waving her hand under the lamp.
"It's really beautiful honey," Tiffany said as the phone started to ring on the table beside the sofa.
"Hello", Tiffany said as she picked up the phone.
"Is Starlene there?" a woman asked.
"Is this Nicole?" Tiffany asked noticing the familiar young voice.
