"Vinny I don't know what to say.  I can't believe her Father fired you," Starlene said into the phone as she stood in the lobby of Stanley's office in the Empire State Building.  She glanced at Stanley's receptionist and noticed that she was trying hard to understand the one-sided telephone conversation.
"I'll be callin' ya' soon.  I think I'm coming back to New York City to live," Vinny said.
"Really."
"Yeah.  If I ain't goin' to be workin' for Nicki's Father anymore than I'm leavin' Florida."
"What about you and Nicole?"
"She probably won't give me another chance."
"You didn't give the proofs of the pictures of Nicole to her Father did you Vinny?" Starlene asked referring to the preliminary pictures taken of Nicole for Playbody Magazine. She had secretly taken the risqué pictures from Stanley's desk in a rage of jealousy and given them to Vinny as proof of Nicole's philandering.
"Yeah I showed them to him and he took them away from me."
"Oh Vinny.  I wish you hadn't done that.  You didn't tell him where you got them, did you?" Starlene asked worried that her lover Stanley would find out that she was the one that had taken the pictures.
"What's done is done."
"You told him?"
"Don't worry about it Starlene."
"He'll be mad at my Stanley for this."
"You caught your Stanley with her, they were doin' it.  He deserves whatever he gets for that."
"You promised me you wouldn't tell him if I gave you the pictures."
"He made me."
"Well, what kind of man is he that he could make a big strong guy like you do anything," Starlene said remembering Vinny's masculine physique.
"He's a man you don't want to mess with Starlene, that's all I'm tellin' you.  I like you a lot and I don't want you in the middle of any trouble."
"What are you telling me Vinny?"
"I'm tellin' you I'd find myself a new boyfriend and leave that Stanley Morgan alone."
"I'm not going to do that."
"It's your life honey. I just know this could be serious trouble now that Nicole's Daddy knows your boyfriend's been with his little girl."
"Well, Stanley said she wouldn't be working here much longer," she said glancing up as she heard the door to Stanley's office open and Nicole walked out into the hallway followed by Stanley.
"I'm just warnin' ya'" Vinny said.
"Look I have to go," Starlene said as she watched Nicole and Stanley walking towards her.
"I'll be callin' ya' when I get to New York." He said hanging up the phone.
Nicole walked past Starlene and the receptionist in the lobby to the coat rack and took her short fur coat from the hanger.
"You're still hanging around out here?" Nicole asked glancing at Starlene as she put on her jacket.
"I was going to ask you the same thing Nicole."
"Ladies please," Stanley said clearing his throat before turning to glance at his receptionist.  "Hold all my calls for the rest of the day.  I'm leaving," he said walking to the coat rack and taking his overcoat from the hanger.
