Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Thursday January 24th 2002 Nicole opened the door to Stanley's office in the Empire State Building. She saw him at his desk overlooking the skyline of the city as he talked on the telephone. "I'll tell the Senator. I know the downtown area has cost a lot more than we ever expected," Stanley said glancing up and seeing Nicole at his door. "I know we can get more funds for it," Stanley said into the phone motioning for Nicole to come into his office. "Yeah. Don't worry about it. I know that Amir's working on it too. Whatever you need we're here for you Mr. Mayor," Stanley said nodding for Nicole to have a seat while he was on the phone. He watched as she closed the office door and walked towards the sofa taking a seat crossing her legs in the short leather skirt she was wearing. "I know this a hell of a job. Hell of a job," Stanley said into the phone watching Nicole bend forward to look for a magazine to read on the coffee table in front of her. He watched the front of her low cut sweater fall open exposing her firm bare bosom. He watched her grimace as she looked through the financial magazines on the coffee table. "Yes. We're here for you. We'll be at the next meeting at City Hall," Stanley said aroused as Nicole re-crossed her legs allowing the short skirt to rise up on her thighs. "I've got to go into an important meeting Mayor. I'll get back with you. You too," Stanley said hanging up the phone. "Well, I'm glad to see you," Stanley said reaching for his cigar in the ashtray and lighting it as he leaned back in his leather chair. "Did you miss me this afternoon?" Nicole asked. "Yes I did. I called over to Manhattan Party Planning and they said you went to a meeting," Stanley said wondering where his secretary had spent her afternoon. "Yeah. I hope you don't mind. I had some personal business to attend to," she said bending forward to throw the boring magazine back on the table. She glanced up quickly catching his eyes on her sweater and knew he wouldn't be upset with her for taking the afternoon off. "That's okay. You can take off whenever you need to. You're a good worker," Stanley said reaching down to the drawer of his desk and pulling it open. "Thanks Stan. You're the best boss in the world." "Well, I'm the only one you've had so far," he said laughing as he picked up the bottle of Scotch from the drawer and brought it to the desktop. "How about a little drink," Stanley asked reaching behind him to the credenza and the tray with the ice bucket and glasses. "Well, I don't know," she said still feeling the Bourbon she had at Skeeter's apartment an hour ago. "Before dinner," he said pouring two glasses of Scotch and taking them towards the sofa where she was seated. "I really shouldn't," she said taking the glass from him and watching as he loosened his tie and sat down beside her. "Why? I'm the boss. If I say it's okay, it's okay," he said putting his glass on the coffee table and sitting down next to her on the sofa. "You spoil me Stan," she said taking a sip of the drink and putting the glass on the table in front of her. "You're worth it all," he said putting his arm around her and pulling her close to him. "Aren't you afraid someone will come in," she asked as he tugged on her sweater. He bent forward as his lips tasted the perfumed lotion on her soft skin still warm from the cashmere.
