Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Monday January 14th 2002
"Vinny! What are you doing here?" Nicole asked nervously jumping up from her chair in Clark's upstairs office.
"I thought I'd take my girl to lunch," he said pushing the door open and walking in nodding at Clark and glancing towards Jan.
"Jan and Clark this is my boyfriend Vinny from Florida," Nicole said nervously.
"Pleasure," he said turning his attention from Jan and Clark to the short skirt Nicole was wearing.
"I don't know about lunch Honey," she said nervously.
"I think you oughta' come," he said.
"Okay. Please excuse me," Nicole said glancing towards Clark and Jan.
"Sure," Clark said watching Nicole take Vinny's arm and start out of the doorway.
"Do you want me to tell Father that you aren't coming back in today?" Jan asked noticing Vinny's massive back as he walked next to Nicole towards the stairway to go down.
"Yeah. I guess so," Nicole said nervously.
"You Jan? Stanley's daughter?" Vinny asked frowning.
"Yes, Stanley is my Father," Jan said smugly.
"I see. Ya tell your old man that Nicki's boyfriend came by," Vinny said eyeing Jan suspiciously as he took Nicole's arm and led her towards the stairs.
Jan and Clark glanced at each other shocked by the sudden intrusion.
"Vinny you're hurting my arm," Nicole whispered as he led her down the stairs hurriedly.
Nicole glanced towards Starlene and Tiffany as they entered the downstairs living room.
"Vinny and I are going to lunch," Nicole said grabbing her coat from the rack near the front door.
"Are you coming back soon?" Starlene asked curiously.
"No. We gotta' lot of talkin' to do," Vinny said opening the front door and nodding towards Nicole to step outside.
"Pleasure meetin' everybody," Vinny said smiling at Starlene and winking before closing the door.
"Oh my God," Starlene said after the door slammed closed.
"He's going to kill her Starlene," Tiffany said remembering all of the things that Starlene said she told Vinny about Nicole's flirtations during their secret lunch together the other day.
"I told you I'd get rid of her," Starlene said smiling proudly as the shock of the sudden events started to fade.
"Well, who the hell was that?" Clark asked rushing down the stairs with Jan close behind him.
"Vinny, I guess," Starlene said innocently.
"I don't know him but he sure the hell seems mad at Nicole," Clark said.
"Yeah, he did seem agitated," Starlene said.
"Where do you think they went?" Jan asked.
"I don't know. He said they were going to lunch," Starlene said.
"Did she make any calls before they left?" Clark asked.
"No. Why?" Starlene said.
"Because I remember her telling me she was meeting someone for lunch today," Clark said wondering who Nicole might be standing up now.
"She did?" Jan asked suddenly worried that her secret lover and Tiffany's estranged husband Skeeter might be that other man.
