Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Tuesday January 8th 2002
Tiffany heard the front door of the apartment open and close.  She got out of the bed and walked towards the living room of the apartment overlooking Washington Square Park.
"You're home.  How was it?" Tiffany asked walking into the living room as she watched her younger sister take off her pink fur trimmed jacket and throw it over the chair.
"Great.  I accomplished everything I set out to do," Starlene said smiling broadly.
"Tell me what," Tiffany said as Starlene walked towards the kitchen, her high heels echoing on the hardwood floors.
"Well, it was just like I thought," Starlene said as she walked into the kitchen and turned on the light.  "You want something to drink?" she asked opening the refrigerator door.
"No, thanks," Tiffany said as Starlene took a Diet Coke from the refrigerator and they walked together towards the living room.
"He's really a nice looking guy.  He took me to dinner in Little Italy.  Not at all what I thought he'd be like though."
"What do you mean?" Tiffany asked as they took a seat on the sofa.
"He's just kinda rough around the edges, you know. I mean different from what I'm used to."
"Like what Starlene?  Did he try anything with you?"
"No.  Nothing like that.  Although I could tell he planned to."
"Well what do you mean then?"
"He just talks… kinda street like.  And he was wearing a gold bracelet.  I'm not used to men wearing bracelets."
"That is weird."
"He had on a lot of rings too. You should have seen it, one of them was a big diamond."
"So you think he's rich?"
"I think so."
"Did he tell you what he does for a living in Florida?"
"He wouldn't talk much about it.  He just said he's planning to open several casinos. I noticed too that the owner of the restaurant in Little Italy knew him.  Maybe there's a lot of money in casinos.  You know I've heard most people lose to those machines," Starlene said with an air of authority.
"What else?  Is he still seeing Nicole?"
"He's in love with her I could tell that."
"How do you know?"
"Cause he said that he hadn't talked to her in about a week.  She told him she wanted some time to think over their relationship.  You should have seen his face when I told him that I thought she was after other men," Starlene said smiling broadly before taking a sip of her Diet Coke.
"Did you tell him that she's trying to steal Stanley from you?" Tiffany asked.
"No not exactly".
"Well, what did you tell him?"
"I told him that she's been chasing Amir."
"Why did you do that Starlene?"
"Because she has been. You told me that yourself."
"Well how did he act?"
"Mad."
"Great!  Now he might kill Amir."
"No I don't think so."
"Why, if he was mad about it?"
"Cause he seemed more mad about Skeeter."
