Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Thursday January 3rd 2002 Tiffany and Starlene watched as Jan walked up the stairs with Clark to his office. "Did you hear what Jan said?" Tiffany asked her sister in a hushed voice as soon as she heard Clark's upstairs office door close. "What?" Starlene asked her mind absorbed with the thoughts of how to get rid of her lover Stanley's secretary Nicole. The only good thing to happen since Stanley hired Nicole was that his daughter Jan hated the young secretary also. "Jan said she remembered me telling her that Skeeter and I had lived over the Red Lion Club when we were together," Tiffany said referring to Jan's remarks about stopping by Skeeter's when she saw Nicole going into the apartment building where her ex-husband lived. "So?" "Starlene, why would Jan stop by Skeeter's? Why would Jan care if Nicole was in Skeeter's apartment?" she asked feeling her suspicions about her ex-husband had been on target for a long time. "I don't know Tiffany. What do you care anyway, you've got Amir now," Starlene said referring to Tiffany's wealthy lover. "Jan's having an affair with Skeeter. I just know it. I can't prove it, but I know it." "Now you see how I feel about Nicole and Stanley," Starlene said starting to pace the floor in front of Tiffany's desk. "Something has to be done. Nicole's a tramp," Tiffany said. "I'll fix her," Starlene said in her southern accent stopping at the chair where she had thrown her purse. "What are you going to do?" "I'm calling her boyfriend in Florida again," Starlene said taking her cell phone from her purse. "That won't do any good." "We'll see," Starlene said taking her red phone book from her purse to look up the number in Florida. "You called him once before and it didn't do any good." "Well, I didn't tell him everything," Starlene said dialing the number and holding up her hand to motion for her sister Tiffany to be quiet. "Yeah," Vinny answered. "Is this Vinny?" Starlene asked. "Yeah, who's this?" he asked. "This is Starlene. Remember I called you about a month ago? I know Nicole," Starlene said. "Yeah. Yeah…I remember you. How ya doin?" he asked enjoying the sound of her thick southern accent. "I'm okay. Look I wanted to meet you next time you come to town," Starlene said. "Well, yeah. I'd like that. What do you look like Darlene?" he asked excited by the thought of an encounter with a new girl. "I've got long blonde hair and I guess you could say I've got a good figure. I mean I'll probably be posing for Playbody soon," Starlene said turning her back to Tiffany as she watched her sister's mouth drop open when she heard what she had said. "That's my favorite magazine. I'd love to meet you Darlene," he said. "It's Starlene." "Sorry Sugar. Yeah, I'll be in town tomorrow," he said glancing at his watch and quickly deciding he could get a quick flight and cancel his meetings. "That sounds great. Lunch?" Starlene asked. "And dinner", Vinny said opening his address book to find the number for the airlines. CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
