Everything old is new again. It used to be that if you walked along the streets in the Meat Packing District during the day you would see butchers with sides of meat. During the evening hours you might have seen a few ladies of the evening. Today, you'll see expensive restaurants, art galleries, designer stores, movie stars and yes a few butchers with sides of meat. (no more ladies of the evening).
Top right picture you see a pretty home in the area of the Chelsea and the Meat Packing District.
Center right picture you see West 14th Street.
Bottom right picture you see Little West 12th Street. The spacious old warehouses have been painted, decorated and reopened to wealthy clientele and tourists. You even see buses and walking tours. The butchers must wonder what all the fuss is about.
