The downtown area of Manhattan is where the terrorist attacks occurred, so this area has suffered. We'll show you more on that area in the upcoming days. Today we'd like to show you some of the great sights of downtown that you will want to put on your "NYC to do list".
Top right picture you see Pier 17 at South Street Seaport. This picture was taken from the Brooklyn Bridge. A great way to spend a nice day is to take a walk on the Brooklyn Bridge and enjoy the pretty views of the city. Then stop by South Street Seaport, have lunch or dinner and go shopping in the mall there.
Center right picture you see Broadway near Soho with Grace Church in the distance. As you can see this is a busy area, with lots of shopping and restaurants.
If you feel like relaxing then a walk around Battery Park offers great views.
