Daily Photos for 11/22/01 : Statue of Liberty, Ground Zero World Trade, 212 Restaurant
Happy Thanksgiving! For our international readers we'll briefly explain. All across the United States today families gather to enjoy a traditional turkey dinnerand give thanks. More than ever in New York City this Thanksgiving we realize how much we have to be thankful for. Today we have chosen images that represent some of the things we cherish in New York City and throughout America.
Top right you see the Statue of Liberty. God and country are the most important in our hearts. For our freedom we are very thankful.
Center right picture you see 212 Restaurant at 133 East 65th Street between Lexington and Park Avenue. This picture serves to remind us of our thanks for our homes and our food.
Bottom right picture you see a small area of Ground Zero at the sight of the World Trade Center terrorist attack. We are so thankful to all of the rescue workers that have worked to save people. To this day the fire still burns and workers put their lives at risk. Thank you! Click here for the next page on today's tour of NYC.
