Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Tuesday November 20th 2001 "She only stay for minute", Amir said in his broken English after hanging up the phone. "I just said I didn't like her and then you tell her she can stop by. Right when we were about to…. Just forget it," Tiffany said. She checked the buttons on her blouse as she quickly got up from the sofa in Amir's Upper East Side Mansion. "She only bring blueprint. I need this for meeting in the morning," "She's your secretary can't she just bring the blueprints to the office tomorrow," Tiffany said lowering her voice when the doorbell rang. Amir straightened his shirt and smoothed back his dark hair as he walked towards the front door. "Hi Amir," Nicole said as he opened the door and the cold air rushed through the living room dimming the light of the candles on the coffee table. "Thank you for bringing this," he said taking the package from her. "This is a nice place," Nicole said glancing behind him into the living room. "Thank you," Amir said feeling terribly awkward for not inviting her inside. "Aren't you going to invite me in Amir? It's cold out here. I'd love to warm up a little before I catch a cab back downtown," she said pushing her long coat open in the front revealing her short skirt and long legs covered in black tights. "I have guest now," Amir said. "It's okay Amir you can invite Nicole in," Tiffany said when she saw the young woman glancing behind him into the living room. "Tiffany, you're here," Nicole said as Amir stepped aside and she walked into the living room. "Yes. I came by to see Amir," Tiffany said. "I'm glad I'm not interrupting anything then," Nicole said taking off her long cashmere coat and handing it to Amir. "You can't bring the package to work tomorrow?" Tiffany asked feeling her resentment grow as she watched his attractive secretary. "I won't be coming in until late. I'm meeting with a few tabloids to discuss my upcoming Playbody feature and my new job with Amir," she said proudly. "What? Amir you didn't tell me," Tiffany said. "It was Stanley's idea. He's such a go-getter that guy," Nicole said walking into the living room and taking a seat in a chair beside the sofa. "Don't you and Stanley worry this will be a conflict?" Tiffany asked Amir remembering all of the publicity they had tried unsuccessfully to avoid for fear it would hurt his standing in the community. "I never know of this," Amir said honestly. "Could I have a glass of wine too," Nicole said pouting slightly. "Amir what is your public relations man Bailey, going to say about this?" Tiffany asked seriously. "This problem I give to Stanley," Amir said shaking his head in disbelief as he poured a glass of wine from the decanter and handed it to Nicole. She reached to take the wineglass from his hand as she slowly crossed her legs in the short skirt. "Stanley loves the idea. He says the more publicity the better," Nicole said taking a sip of her wine. "I guess that's why my sister Starlene is going to be doing a full page too," Tiffany said bitterly. "She is?" Nicole asked looking up at Tiffany over the rim of her wineglass. "Yes," "Stan told me just before I left the office that wasn't going to happen," she said sipping her wine and leaning back in the chair. When she noticed Amir watching her she slowly re-crossed her legs, never bothering to pull down the short skirt to cover her thighs. CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
